Remarks
You get admission through wbjee exam or jee main. The expected rank for CSE is 10k for wbjee and 94 percentile in jee main (for general rank). Criteria for board exam is minimum is you should pass. Quota is available but only for West Bengal students. When your College is allotted in counseling in the afternoon you have to go to centers provided by wbjee to verify your documents like the 10th, 12th mark sheet. And then after you have to visit college within selected dates and take admission. If you are not satisfied with the college you can wait for the next round but you have to go to the center to verify documents. At the time of verification, you have to pay the same amount of Rs5000(changes per year).
Course Curriculum Overview
CSE is the best branch in Netaji Subhash engineering college. About 99% of students get placed in many companies. The boys and girls ratio is about 3:2 for CSE. There are many faculties for each subject. All faculty members give their best to students. They always focus on students for better placement. There is two mid-term exams in each semester and easy to score. semester exam has been taken by MAKAUT University. Paper was not so hard. You can easily score good marks.
Internships Opportunities
You can take an internship on your own. College does not provide internships. Teachers are very supportive they always guide you to get a good internship. If you can't get internship it doesn't affect your placement.
Placement Experience
Netaji Subhash engineering college is mainly known for its Placements. The average package is 4.50 lakh. All branches get good placement but mainly CSE, IT, and ECE have 95%+ students get placed. Civil and mechanical department have low placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for a total 4year is approx 4 lakh. Approx 50k per semester. You can't get a scholarship if you are not from West Bengal. If you have a TFW certificate then your semester fee is only 1200rs.
Campus Life
There is a central library on the campus. You can get your semester book from the library. Each department organized its department fest each year. And there is also an annual fest for all students. So many club-like google developers, Rotaract, etc.
