Remarks
I applied for VIT on the official VIT website and after reviewing my UG marks and MAT scores they shortlisted me for the personal interview process. I was interviewed by an MBA professor I got selected in the interview and received my admission letter.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had good technical knowledge in the Civil Engineering field but that isn't enough to start a business. My long term goal is to start a construction company so I required some business skills to implement my ideas and skills to be a successful Entrepreneur.
Internships Opportunities
A lot of companies offered internship can't be particular and many companies offer internship without stipend only a few offered with stipend. At last, the stipend isn't an important factor what we learned from the internship and the industry knowledge we gained is important.
Placement Experience
From the 4th semester, we are eligible to go for campus placements as I'm currently in my 3rd sem I dont have any ideas clearly about the placement. But as per the source, the package for the previous batch was 12 LPA and avg CTC was 5 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
For two years the course cost us 7 lakh excluding the hostel and mess fees. The scholarship opportunities are available for the students securing 90% in the Mat and also the campus jobs aren't that great due to the ongoing pandemic.
Campus Life
Since the pandemic is on I haven't had any experience on campus. Our MBA was unlucky to have offline classes for the safety precautions but there is a lot of social clubs and extracurricular activities that will be going on online.
Interview Experience
I had a personal interview through skype and I was interviewed by some MBA professors. The questions were about why you choose MBA and some current affairs. The interview process was nearly 15 mins and I prepared myself by reading newspapers regularly.
