Remarks

I had applied to PGDAV and got selected for the fourth cut-off. No quota I am from general category Cut-off criteria are there and no other criteria. The minimum percentage 90% for the last cut off and no age limit is specified.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I wanted to pursue my career in the commerce field ans do a company secretary. Most of the faculty are very good. This institution has qualified and good teachers. In one year there are two-semester exam as it comes under Delhi university the exams are of average level

The total cost I pay for my course is 13100 per year including examination fees which are nominal and affordable for me and many others there is no fees hike policy our college also offers you a scholarship for university of Delhi students only. Which will provide scholarships to Delhi university students only. National Scholarship: provides scholarships to all students. E-district Delhi scholarship university scholarship centrally sector scheme centrally sponsored scheme (CSS) commonwealth masters scholarship north campus endowment scholarship

The annual fest of pgdav college is AAGHAZ. Which is conducted in the fest season of DU Which is from December to February another is Falak the annual cultural fest of our college The social group run by the students are PGDAV College placement cell Enactus PGDAV etc and take us to trip to Different IIT for competition all over India

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although, people say that B.Com doesn't have a great scope to it, I feel like there are many life lessons that we are taught during our college years. Since the introduction of NEP 2020, there has been a rather great emphasis on practical learning. In our college, we are asked for presentations and group projects to promote learning and communication. The presence of SEC and VAC also helps you develop your soft skills, groom your personality and live a happy and healthy life. Exams are help at the end of every semester. There are a few guides and PYQs with the help of which a student can prepare for these exams. They are relatively easy in my opinion and do not require extreme efforts. Overall, it's a great experience and a great opportunity to learn so many things.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose b.Com because I am from a commerce background. It is an open college class held only on Sundays classrooms are good but washrooms are average. Teachers are experienced and well-educated. Exams are held on every 6 months semester wise you have to study hard to clear exams.

Well I was very clear to go for MBA after completing the program so placement was never a big deal for me but there are few companies which come every year at the last sem for placements and 10-20% get good placement.

I was given this college on the basis of the score in the CUET Exam which i gave after my 12th. It was a tough exam i would say because compiting with 20 Lac plus students for just a seat in DU is not an easy task. While preparing the prefference sheet and combinations for the college in the admission process was a confusing task. So i select all the cobinations of courses and colleges which i was eligible and then i also select my course and college, but i never thought that i would get it, still though i was happy that i get to study in one of the DU college. St Stephens obviously as for Science, its one of the best DU college.
