My Life at Hindusthan

I have applied for admission through Anna University counselling. Depending on the Cut off marks, we can choose the available college. I have applied only for the Hindusthan Institute of Technology. The admission process was well organized by Anna University. As for filling up the form, they have rectified every doubt and resolved those issues with kindness. It was a good experience.

Electronics and Communication Engineering is one of the streams where you can learn electronics, a few electricals and computer science-based concepts. The best part of this is communication. The faculty:student ratio is 1:35. They were specialist in their subject and most of them were doctorates and their teaching method was proficient. Exams will be monthly wise and the pattern will be intermediate level.

CTS, SS Technovasion, Caliber India limited are providing internship with an average stipend of 8k. We have made a project based on saving people's lives at the time of the accident through the help of IoT and pressure sensor.

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. CTS, Tech Mahindra, L&T, Capgemini, Amazon and so many companies visited. The highest package per company is 8 LPA and the average package is 3.6 LPA. 84% of students are getting placed. I have got placed in CTS and I started working after getting a degree.

The fees are based on the subject they opt for and the average fees for our college is 50k for one year of engineering. And the scholarship can be availed on the basis of merit and financial status of the particular student. Hindusthan trust is a legal resource providing fees waiver for the students, they will provide the campus training and predominant companies will come to our college to hire professionals.

The annual fest will be conducted every march month of the year and the Tech Fest will happen on a semester basis, which is twice a year. Every major engineering books will be available in the library and IEEE membership will be provided for the journals and offline journals also available for student reference. The projector and laptop will be there to take visual lectures and every type of engineering equipment can be found in the lab. Hindusthan provides exposure to every kind of extracurricular activities. The physical education lead will collect various resources from different departments and the annual sports events will take place in a jovial manner.

Wardrobe, Water, Heater will be there. Meal quality is top-notch in hindusthan as they give special care to students to provide a home-like environment. Registration can be made at the time of making registration for college and the hostel comes with different packages. I haven't rented any room as I have stayed in a hostel throughout my college years as they have provided every care for the students.
