Remarks

The admission had 3 different options as 1) Paying the donation and getting the seat in the management quota. 2) Based on your cutoff marks in higher secondary school and end up with government quota 3) By exams conducted by AICTE

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm fascinated by mechanical engineering that's the reason I chose B.E Mech. The college provides you with good faculty most of those who are Ph.D. holders and student-friendly with good exposure to teaching as well as industries. Teachers have theoretical as well as a practical method of teaching which helps us greatly in understanding the concepts We had monthly tests and semesters every 6 months.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are greatly provided to the mechanical engineering department compared to other departments, we get to have good industrial exposure because the internships and faculties help us greatly to get internships in companies to help us do our research works.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for placements right from their 3rd year of course. Students are allowed for interviews if they are eligible for the criteria asked by the recruitment companies. Various companies like TCS, CTS, Infosys, KGISL, and a few. Placements for mechanical engineering companies are less, but various MOU's are signed with the mechanical engineering related companies which we get the opportunity to go internships and can end up getting jobs too. But the salary will not up to our expectation

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure differs from candidate to candidate, for management quota it's Rs 1lakh /annum, for government quota it's Rs 70k/annum, for students who are the first graduate the fees go around 40k/annum and scholarship are provided for those who score higher marks in semester i.e above 8.5 GPA in every semester

Campus Life

Cricket, handball, hockey, basketball ball are some major sports teams focused on the campus. There is a lot of social groups and science groups run by the students to take part and get involved in organizing the programs. National level Technical Symposiums are conducted every year in which students from every part of the state participate. Sports meets are also conducted inter-college level

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
