My personal experience

You just have to appear for the KIITEE test which is free of cost and it's easy as compared to jee mains then in after 14 days results are out and on your rank card everything mentioned related to counselling date and venue you have to reach on that day in campus 6 auditorium where on the large screen according to the rank they call for all branches. Everything is very smooth in the process

I choose this course because of placement and opportunities related to overall growth believe me this university gives you freedom if you are in any kind of extracurricular activities like sports, entrepreneur, drama and theatre anything which suits you and khelo India of 2019 is organized in our college so you can imagine the standard of sports equipment and facilities and now comes to academic except few professors all are average so you have to learn on your own but if you are from computer science then please be in touch with one of my favourite professor ( A.R Swain Sir - programming head of our college) and now comes to internship and job.. Here you will realise why you are spending soo much money in fee here in our college one of very reputed company high radius office is our campus for only KIIT students they hire approx 1500-2000 students for stipended bases internship 15000 per month in various domain and lots of good companies came in our college apart from the mass recruitment company

Dell offered software engineer internship, High radius offered in full-stack, machine learning, and artificial intelligence it's for technical apart from that they provide a business profile ( marketing, consultants) with a stipend of 15-20k Fico offered in cybersecurity, machine learning, devopps, full stack. Now comes to my project I develop an Examination module in which 40 students can easily give exam objective and subjective and also design an Admin server for evaluation ( using Html. CSS, javascript, react and for back-end node js and cloud base database MongoDB ATLAS ).

From 6 semester you are eligible for an internship many companies like FICO, high radius which has an office in our college campus, Dell .many startup comes for paid internship then from 7 semesters you day zero start companies which offer package above 5 lakh approx 50 companies then in day 1 all mass recruitment process starts then after in day 2 all core company is coming then if you do not place in any company please don't panic here college bring companies till 8 semesters and after your engineering, you will get 1 year support from training and placement for placement Actually you will alloted one training placement portal in which every day some company post there you just have to apply to appear test and grab the job in computer science and IT almost 95% students placed and if you are core then 70% students placed avg package is 5 lakh and highest is 29 lakh I got placed in 3 companies 1 Birla soft (3.75 LPA) cognizant (4LPA) Verzeo (4.5 LPA) but I choose CAT( 76.25 ) CMAT(94.25) percent.

The total fee is around 16-17 lakh and if score below 1000 rank in kiitee exam you will eligible for getting 5000 per month scholarship throughout your academic but there is the condition you have to maintain a minimum 7.5 cgpa not involving in any kind of illegal activities and try to not caught by Delipline committee and now comes to placements part in core field opportunities is not good but if you have minimum basic coding skill and good communication skills you will get job easily no matter you are from Core or IT branch but if you are from IT or computer science branch you will have ample of opportunity to explore only thing practice coding develop analytical skills try to part in various conference and webinar Hosted by an industry expert which is organized by the college after 3rd year for your placement preparation and they will also a lot you on the portal is called( my practice) to practice aptitude and coding module of various companies overall my experience college is very supportive in placement

There are many fests organized by the college but KIIT fest is best in which various activities organized for students in KIIT don't worry about fest and function all ask any alumni they will tell you here you never bored from academic now comes to class and library part by the way you will get a new book in every semester with no extra fee and still if you want to go library you can go 24/7 it's open in the night you just have to issue library pass from the hostel and you can go classroom is equipped with all modern equipment (AC, projector, etc) as I mentioned our college organized khelo India tournament and hockey World Cup so you can imagine how good is sports infrastructure and one thing I would like to mention if you are involved in sports and playing for state level you don't have to tensions about attendance all are manged by college

I'm staying in non AC three bed which is good for me the room is quite spacious with 24/7 electricity and 2 fans in our hostel on every floor you will have a water cooler, Mess food is good but after sometimes you will get bored of taste but believe me if compared to other colleges you will find that it's value in weak 4 days you will get chicken and it's good and veg people you will get panner but it's is not good so you have to suffer, breakfast is also good overall mess food is good and you are allowed to go in the kitchen which is I think most unique in any college so that you can see hygiene level of food and if you want to live in PG you will get but I recommend you to live in the hostel because after college you have lots of memories with friends
