Entrance Preview

MH-CET the General Engineers entrance Exam was taken for the Admission Procedures, I scored 79 Percentile. This College was Chosen due to the Close Proximity of My Residence.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course Curriculum is as per the university Regulations, it is decided by the Mumbai University, the Institution decides the Schedules of the Lectures. The Duration of the course is also Decide by the University. The Course is basically very Impractical and only Theoretical. More Practical Experiences are required.

Placement Experience

The Placements are Predominantly from Indian companies, like Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, Cognizant, Hexaware etc, People Cannot Expect Fortune 500 Companies for Placements, be it any Stream of Engineering Background you are from, you are bound to land up in Coding in an IT Company.

College Events

There are basically 2 Main Events in the Curriculum, The Cultural Festival and the Technology Event. The Cultural Festival is Conducted once every year for 5 Days, The Technology Event is Held once every year for 3 Days. The cultural will have all the Cultural Activities and the Technology one will have the Robotics events and Gaming Events etc.

Exam Structure

The Exams are usually the Ones which you have by the University, that is twice Per year. One in Mid year and one the annuals, in between the College will have Internal Tests to determine your Lab Valuations. Which is part of the Final Reviews.

Admission

The Admission Procedure Includes your Previous Academic Checks, Entrance Exam Results etc, The First Step Would include you to submit all the Required Documentation with application Fee. After Which based on the Selection Criteria you will be Selected and will be Required to pay the Joining Fees, Which confirms your Admission.

Faculty

The Faculty is Extremely Inexperienced. To be Precise, the Faculty itself Requires a Huge amount of Training to teach the Subjects to the Students, in my experience i have seen Students who studied with me in the College were working as Staff. This Leads to a Considerable amount of Doubt as in the Experience of the faculty to teach.

A honest review from student who completed one year in VIT MUMBAI

Likes

Infrastructure is so good of this college yeah the campus is not that huge but the way the managed the infrastructure is so good the auditorium of the college it is best
Faculties of the college are so good they are not rude they all have PHDs and all are so good at their own subjects
Girls to boys ratio are also way better than other engineering colleges you will see 30 girls and 40 boys in a classroom

Dislikes

The area near the college is so bad means there is slum behind the college
The college have very strict rules for the events
College have not provided any hostel facility near the college, college have hostel but it is 40 min away from the college by local train

Placement Experience:

You will be eligible for campus placements from 7th semester once you have done your internship. There are various companies that visits college every year like TCS ,Works Application, Uniqlo and Amazon Web Services etc Highest package offered was 37.5 lakhs and the average package is 4-4.5 lakhs Every year around 60-70% students are placed in this college I am planning to have masters in IT.

The reality check

Likes

The college professors are very particular about attendence and they will always keep there eye on your attendance and according to them attending is very important.
The college infrastructure is very good and there is vast space for students to chill and study library is also very spacious.
The teachers are always eager to solve our doubts and interact with us , the want the more and more students should approach them ask there doubts and discuss the syllabus etc.

Dislikes

I didn't like that sometimes over priority is given to the attendance I think a student can study well at his or her own sometimes only regularly attending lectures can't make you score more self study is important
The college don't have big ground earlier there used to be a big ground but it has gone for the construction work so, we only has a turf and a small ground.
The approach towards the teaching should be changed slightly and more practical based learning should be included.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement start from seventh semester and from third semester only students are enrolled in TPO Training and Placement Organisation where they train students withe various technical skills to acquire a good job. Various famous companies visit our college. Highest pakacge is of eight lakh per annum by Nice solutions. Percentage of student getting place on campus is less. After degree I will do a job.

Awesome college life during graduation

Likes

College was newly constructed so infrastructure was quite good.
Teacher's teaching was great as we were 3rd batch
Teacher's used to pay attention to every single students progress.

Dislikes

It was specifically much far from main city
Teacher's were very strict like used to call to parents if students are not present in class
Not much placement companies came to college. Placement rate was not so great

Placement Experience:

Placements for my college was not so good they had provided some companies which has came to take interviews but hardly fuse students got selected and higher number of students had place through consulting agency and they were place of campus even I also did not got placed through college and I had job through off campus. In all, 35 students have got placed via college placements and out of those hardly 20 students join the companies wear in they were placed.

Mit aoe has good faculties and teaching and academic are good enough
Not too crowded as intake is 1300 students of the college
Gender ratio is almost 4:3 as of my batch

Dislikes

Mit aoe Campus is very small hardly 4 to 5 acres
Mit aoe fees is costly comparitively to the other colleges
Mit aoe Campus is almost at the edge of pcmc makes hard for traveling to the main city

Placement Experience:

I think students are eligible for internship from 2 nd year and about placement it is nice with the comparison to others like Sinhgad ,marathwada and alll companies like jsw,cisco ,eq technology and many more are visited in placement cell

Likes

No no college is really good and the no suggestion for that
The environment of the campus and the quality of infrastructure is a very much good that's for not a any solution for that
The professor and the staff of this Institute is very well educated and a experience that why no suggestion for this also

Dislikes

Nothing bad about this college it is an a good college that can provide the good opportunity for student
Nothing this like in this college it is providing good opportunity

Placement Experience:

Yes there will be the good opportunity that can provided by the college many companies come in the college and they can over the placement for the students. What about the unplace student that can also doing good because they can take the education from the KK Wagh

Likes

I like the staff of mechanical branch. They are good at teaching.
My colleagues are good and helpful. Also supportive..
My seniors are great mates and not a single Case of bowling happen.

Dislikes

The canteen of my college is basically trash.
The Xerox shop is very small and always has a rush.
The aesthetics of the campus is not That appealing.

Placement Experience:

Our college gives in campus placements for students in the final year. Our college also has a great reputation regarding the placements giving higher packages to students. The average package for mechanical branch is 4.5 lakhs which is fairly decent considering it's a tear to college.

Placements are really good of the college Indira college of engineering and management pune Highest package was 240000. And minimum package is 12-15 lakh per month. Almost every student in this college get placement

Location of college is best near to juhu beach.
Placements of college is good also internship opportunities are there
Teacher's teaching is average but their behavior towards students are good

Dislikes

Infrastructure of college is bad, need to renew also there is so much pigeons in college
If you want to work on your professional development, college will not much help you, you have to build it by yourself.
My personal experience in this college is boring and mostly I experience difficult to make friends may be the reasons because it is only girl's college, but it depend on person to person

Placement Experience:

College provides Placement opportunites, Average placement is nearly 4.5laks. College will help you after the graduation for one year for the job opportunities if you didnt got job in final year. there are 25+ companies visits in our campus.

the clubs such as cycling club and other which take you out of the campus for creeps small trips

Some companies come come to campus for campus placement and the average package is 14 lakh per annum almost 98% on 95% of the students get placed handsome students also join military academy like Ima,ota,afa etc.

One of the best colleges in Maharashtra

Remarks:

Focusing on student's attendence rather than focusing on students concepts. College is not focusing in development of students only paperwork is done. No conceptul teaching nor practical. By doing this stuff we can get a btech degree but not the knowledge a btech student should have.

Affordable or Expensive- A detailed review of Atharva College of Engineering

I had applied for Thakur college of engineering which was the nearest to my house and also in St. Francis college of engineering. I think Thakur could have been a better option but due to my less percentile I had to go in Athrava and that too management category. The only thing I liked about my college is its aimbience and vibe it gives you a vibe of a decent yet somewhat modern college. The admission process was seamless no difficulty faced at all. Atharva College of Engineering.

As in cap round I apply for different colleges in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, but as per my cut out I was alloted a navi mumbai college known as Saraswati college which is located in Kharghar. But as it is far from my local station I prefered for second list and in that list I alloted this college Atharva College of engineering. So I choosed this college because it is near my local station. And this college is well developed and also had some insight from the ex-students of this college. This made me choose this college. I was rejected by a college named VJTI as that college cut-off was way ahead of what I had scored so I got rejected from that college. The admission process of Atharva College of engineering is to simple just submit your documents of 12th or diploma and your local I'D and fill the fees.
