I didn't apply for any other college because from starting only I wanted to take admission in Thapar. No, I didn't get any quota for this. I got admission based on the 12th board examinations. No due to covid all of the admission process was online so we had an online counselling session.

I choose this course because it has a great number of job opportunities. There is approximately 1:10 faculty: student ratio. They all are highly skilled with each faculty having a minimum master's degree and many with a PhD also. They are held on a regular period of 6 months and their difficulty level is also average.

There are many big companies like SanDisk, TT, Paytm, Samsung, Flipkart which provide summer internships to students for a time period of 6-8 months. Yes, the project students do in these interns are very helpful in their career building and also these get included in their resume. The outcomes of these internships are pretty great and huge.

From semester 6-7 students are eligible for placements in companies. There are over 200+ companies that come to thapar including Google, Microsoft, Amazon,arcesium, apple and many more. The highest package goes around 43-45 lakhs but the average package is around 7-8 lakhs. So totally 98% of students get placed which is a pretty huge rate in itself My plans as such are to join a tech company as a software developer.

Fees of Thapar is usually greater than other private colleges its semester wise fees are 2 lakhs approx and the hostel feel is also 2 lakhs approx per year. Thapar provode all govt. scholarships and also based on merit and performance in each semester.

First, is frosh week which happen at the start of first year then happens a food festival in September and many other fests also takes place in the year. There are over 40 thousand + books in the library and hundreds of journals to read upon. Classrooms are fully equipped with AC,s and with full digital technology including a projector and digital board and a proper sound system. All types of sports are available be it table tennis or horse riding one can easily follow their passion. Mudra, CCS, MLSC etc are some of the technical and non technical societies that are run by students in Thapar.

Hostel rooms are well equipped with everyday things like AC attached washrooms and a study table too. The meal is both nutritious as well as healthy and all type of Indian and Chinese is served you can eat according to your need, Registration for the hostel is done online on Thapar's website. Talking about expenses hostel has a fee of 40000 every 3 months. Local PG or room facility is not as good as Hostel's they are not so cleaned.
