Great campus Life with good college curriculum

I had applied for colleges like nit trichy and other IITs for electronics course while filling the choices during counseling done by josaa.I got nit warangal and i am satisfied with it because its in my home state. So there won't be any discomfort. I got the college under general EWS category. To get admission in this college for BTech minimum age is 16 and the minimum marks one should get has to be around 200 for a general seat in the ECE group. Admission Process: That day was a too hectic and tiring. They literally made us to wait for almost entire day for completion of entire admission procedure for the finalization of the seat like submitting all respective forms and made us to fill some forms given there. On that say only you will be allocated with your hostel room, Registration number and temporary IDs were given for mess and college.

Teachers in our college are highly qualified. They are PhD holders. Some are talented, but some are not due to a lack of experience. They are very helpful and clear many personal doubts of students. For their teaching, I would rate 3 out of 5. The course curriculum is excellent. It highly helps students to stimulate new ideas. It includes new technologies. Workshops are conducted. But they won't keep enough efforts to make students understand complex parts. Only some keep maximum efforts to make students understand. When it comes to addressing students' doubts all are great. The faculty-student ratio is around 15:1. Exams structure is divided into 2 minors of 10 marks each, one midterm of 30 marks, and one end term for 50 marks. The exams are one of the challenging ones and are difficult to pass. But don't worry, its difficult for and so there is not much impact due to relative grading.

For ECE there aren't many internship opportunities. Only around 12 would bag interns when it comes to ece core companies. But in software, there are many popular companies that offer interns. Around 200 students on average gets interns from companies coming to campus

Students are eligible for campus placements from fourth year. Companies hire students from the beginning of the fourth year. Some of the companies are Microsoft, Qualcomm, samsung, Texas instruments, ISRO, Tata, Accenture, wipro, Infosys, Cisco,Ansys, Visa, ICICI, IBM,xilinx, Dell,nvedia etc.. For BTech ECE percentage of students getting placed is around 93. Highest package for ECE is 36lpa.

If annual income of students family fall into the below categories Below 1lakh: no tuition fees Between 1-5lakh: 2/3rd tuition fees waiver Above 5lakh: 62,500 tuition fees per semester Also students whose cgpa is greater than 8.5 will get merit scholarship from college if they didn't received any of above fee waivers. Under this students entire tuition fees is returned back.

Every year about 3 fests, some other minor fests, and many events are organized by the college.Technozion is technical fest conducted in month of October. springspree is cultural fest conducted in month of march. Also some cultural gatherings for festivals like Ganesh chaturthi,diwali, dussehra,onam, Sankranti etc. Campus always looks like a festival with lots of students. The campus is within the city Hanamkonda 2 km away from bus stand and railway station. There are many shops outside the college.The campus is modernised. Second-year students hostels are old, but first-year students hostel is Asia's biggest hostel with 1800 rooms. Rooms are well facilitated with cupboards, tables, beds, fans, etc. Rooms are quite spacious. Everything is clean. It has reading rooms, TV, table tennis for every 2 floors and badminton courts. A canteen is available inside the hostel. In the girls' hostel, there is no canteen. They provide badminton, volleyball and basketball courts for girls separately.

Two per room for BTech first year Lan,one bed per head,one computer table per head,1 chair per head,1 cupboard per head. Bathrooms are outside if rooms situated at bathrooms section for every corridor. Meals are less spicy and less tasty in first years mess. But hostel 1.8k is super. Quality of meal is good and infrastructure in mess is also great.
