Remarks

I got a seat in the college through counseling conducted by Anna university. I acquired marks above average in my school and by government quota, I got the college. The student applying for the college shall contact the college prior to know about the procedures on how to apply and get the seat. The student must be at least the age of 17, and score at least 50% in schooling to avail the seat. Admission was simple, I had to attend the counseling and choose this college and what course do you opt. With the selection card please visit the college and reach the office, they will guide the students on how to proceed on the admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The reason I chose mechanical over other departments was that I had a craze for automobiles and machinery. It is the passion that drove me towards the department. The faculty are in ample amount, both teaching and teaching support staffs (lab assistants and attenders). Usually at a 15:1 ratio. The basic qualification for teaching staff is a major in the mechanical field. One in 5 classes is enabled with IOT which is split between 4 classes and is shared by them on a periodic schedule. Exams are conducted on monthly basis, which extends for a week. Note: there are 3 internal exams in a 5 month semester. Exams were not that hard to pass because we were educated well.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The students have the freedom to choose to do their internship, it can be either paid interns or only for knowledge purposes. Usually, the companies that colleges suggest' give stipends ranging from 5 thousand to 10 thousand depending upon the role given to the individual.

Placement Experience

4.5

Students are being placed to companies from the 6th semester, these students can do weekend interns in the placed companies and continue their college. To name a few companies: Hyundai steel, TCL, INFOSYS, HCL, COGNICENT, SUTHERLAND, CADD CENTRE, and many. As of my know9the highest salary package was around 7 lakhs per annum. The college holds the pride of placing more than 90% of its students every year. I was placed in the company for a salary package of 2.5 lakhs per annum and I'm currently working there.

Fees and Financial Aid

Usually, the fee that you pay in the 1st year is the same throughout the course of study, and the cost of study does not go up. You can opt for scholarships also. The student can also seek the help of banks for loans for study purposes. Usually, students are placed at top companies with 2 lakhs per annum and can also get placed at companies that provide up to 7 lakhs per annum.

Campus Life

4

Symposiums will be conducted in the even semesters, which allows other colleges/university students to participate and showcase their skills and talents. Also, yearly sport's meet is also conducted within the departments in the college. Our college hosts one of the big libraries in the town with over 10 lakh books and journals, along with 20 lakh plus online journals published every week. Classrooms are well ventilated with 4 to 5 big windows and 8 to 10 fans, a projector, and 30 benches to accommodate for every class's strength.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
