I have applied for NIT's ,IIIT's , MANIT, MIT(manipal), VIT , No, I have not availed any quota for admission Admission is totally based on kiitee rank and the minimum rank to enter in kiit is around 25000 and the minimum to get CSE is 4-5K. The admission process was smooth since I have got admitted online so it was a good experience, no problem with that. Counseling also done online, Exam was totally free of cost , but they deducted counseling fee of 10000 after selection.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am passionate about software engineering and I heard about kiit placements, so that attracted me to admit in kiit, faculties are good no doubt, and they clear every doubt if asked, Teachers are well qualified but teaching way is somehow I don't like maybe because of online classes, but it's average overall. It is easy if you study and passing an exam is not a big task, although it is a moderate and harder side, but manageable, If you study you will surely pass the exam.
Internships Opportunities
there are paid and unpaid internships and students typically get both offered. projects that solve real-life problems get importance, and companies are not always the same as placements company but it vary time to time and yaah, projects definitely have more weightage than anything else.
Placement Experience
from 6th-semester students typically start preparing for placements, and internships. for placements again kiit is good. amazon, adobe like companies also give placements there, and around 40lac is the highest this year. 100 percent student gets placements if their branch is cse/IT , I will do jobs and preparation for CAT. Placements in kiit are beyond my expectations.
Fees and Financial Aid
It's TOOO costly to study in kiit , there are scholarships after semester exams, but very few. If you topped the semester you will receive a scholarship, on the monthly basis, The fee they are charging is always higher side, and the services they provide is moderate, but since placement is good so it's totally worth it.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is too good than any college in India, there is fest also, tech fest happens on the monthly basis. The library is one of the best libraries in India. There are so many sports events and Clubs are too common. everyone enjoys kiit life, no doubt. The classrooms are awesome. Campus beauty can't express in words. And the best part, believe me, you cant see the whole campus in a day, it's huge.
Hostel Facilities
It's great, You will have all the services that a student needs. The meals and Menu are awesome. The hostel is affordable I can say, and there is also Gym. so it's great. Registration is done at the time of counseling and based upon students' choice you will get the room.
