There was no entrance exam. Direct through board examination. I selected since it was having a good placement record and also a reputed institution in chennai.
Course Curriculum Overview
There is no option for research. We had different courses like Machines, Electronic Circuits, Electrical Machines, Digital Signal Processing, Numerical Methods, Solid State Drives, Bio-Medical Engineering, Engineering Mathematics, etc. All these subjects had lab sessions through which we had access to devices and machines.
Internships Opportunities
No, it depends on individual interest and voluntary. So possibility of internship was available only during the semester holidays.
Admission
It was through an Open-Window system organized by the Anna University. My college is affiliated to Anna University. So we have to select three top colleges and then opt one among them in the Counselling Hall. Then once we select the college, we need to go to the college and pay the respective fees as suggested by Anna University.
Faculty
Yes they were good. During the first year, all department professors would handle the subject papers. From second year we moved to our dept and our dept staffs were quite good. Lab sessions were handled better. Except for certain issues like OD, everything was good.
