Remarks

I only applied to UPSEE because all other colleges were not in UP. I did not avail any quota. I got admission using UPSEE rank only. I think the maximum rank was around 11K when I took the admission for IT and that was the only criteria. On counseling day, I carried original documents to the college campus for one on one verification and paid the college fees online.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I opted for this course because it has the best placement. The faculty to student ratio is 1 is to 8 here. All faculties are well qualified with at least M.Tech. or Ph.D. and teaching method of all teachers are ok ok. Exam times are not decided easily since covid but generally, they are in June and January.

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship offers are made by companies since 2nd year but they don't give stipend. IBM also offers internships here. All kinds of projects are made like Web Development, Android and Flutter etc. Internships could be better in terms of stipend.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible somewhere from 6th semester for placements and there are many companies and startups to join. The best ones are Kronos and Amazon. Full CSE and IT batch gets placed every year. The highest package was 13 LPA by Kronos.

Fees and Financial Aid

KIET has very reasonable fees as compared to other colleges of India and there are no major hikes in fees. Cost to study is around 120000 yearly. There is no scholarship or financial assistance provided.

Campus Life

4.5

All books are generally available at the book bank within the college. Classrooms of first year have all good facilities but rest years don't have very modern classrooms. We have an annual fest called Epoque. It's really good and entertaining. It happens in March. There are fine sports facilities although not enough to gather a large proportion of students. There are a good number of clubs, technical and non-technical.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Life at SRM.

Likes

A good and friendly environment on campus where students from all around nearby cities and states stay together in harmony.
Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Likes

I liked the faculties of my college they are very supportive and helpful towards the students.
I like the curriculum which more learning based then theory
I like the support that is provided by the college towards the placements of the students

Dislikes

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

Inside Out of KIET

My decision was I could say influenced by my elder brother and I don't regret taking admission here. I applied to all AKTU colleges got rejected only from IET LUCKNOW and KNIT SULTANPUR purely due to percentile reason Other than that I got all the colleges including BIET JHANSI. I chose this one due to placement of the 2022 batch. Admission happens here through JEE MAINS and DIRECT ADMISSION as well For my course if you are general then you should have atleast 90+ percentile if you are from home state that is UP. Direct Admission happens on the basis of 12th result for CSE you need near around 90 percentage...Read More
