Exposure to Managerial Studies

Overall experience of doing Executive Education at IIM C was really good. They have tie up with very good institutes like Hughes, NIIT Imperia etc. , It is worth studying this course.

I took Entrance exam conducted by Hughes which is affiliated by IIM C for Executive Programming in Global Business Management education. I scored 80% in the overall course.

Course curriculum comprises of 12 subjects to be covered in 1 year. More than the theoretical learning, class room virtual sessions which enables interaction among the students who share their real time experience is the important learning.

Instead of internship, there was a project that all of us were expected to do at the end of the course. This was a great value addition to our profile as experts from various industries participated and completed the project together.

There is no placement assurance. however, IIM C brand certainly adds greater value to ones profile. Job opportunities predominantly relise on our learning capability And marketing potential of yourself.

We had 1 week campus visit programming. This helped us to network with 120+ students who came from various parts of the country. We had classroom sessions, on the job experience, guest lectures etc. , That was unforgettable experience.

As IIM C offers this courae for working professionals only, most of our students were corporate sponsored. Fess was 2, 50, 000 + taxes. But a worthy investment.

This is applicable for full time students. As our education was executive education in nature, this was sponsored by the respective corporates. To my knowledge, there was no scholarship for Executive Education.

Campus life was awesome. Unforgettable experience @ IIM C, Joka, Kolkata. Library, Auditorium, class rooms & hostel facilities was fantastic. We had daily knowledge sharing sessions, there is no gender bias or preferences towards cultural bias etc. , Every individual in the batch are treated equally. Knowledge, skill & the attitude of the individual is respected above various other things.

During our one week campus visit that we had at IIM C, Joka, the hostel and the food provided was really good. It is good to arrange something on our own to manage summer, if the campus visit is scheduled at the time of April or May.

Yes, the Aluminium network at IIM C is very powerful. There is a separate portal login provided by IIM C for the students to have various networking opportunities.

All 12 exams on online based. All questions are concept & scenario based. If one attends the virtual sessions successfully, he/she can achieve this easily.
