Remarks

The admission process is quite similar to those of other Delhi University colleges, you see the cut-off list and as per your preference, you choose the college you want to get admitted into and accordingly download the application form of the chosen college and visit the college for the further process. The admission fee of the selected course is to be submitted once all the stages of the admission process are completed.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

One of the most dedicated colleges when it comes to curriculum. I still remember we had to go and attend classes even when DUTA strikes were announced. The faculty is competitive and at the same time dedicated. We hardly had any teachers who used to come late for the classes and we too were excited for our classes because it was so fun. One thing that I personally did not like about my faculty was they used to have this prejudice toward backbenchers although i was never a backbencher but still there are days when you have to sit at those seats without your choice so I have felt this thing sitting there

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The internship fare conducted by the placement cell of the colleges provides you an opportunity to interact with all the company personnel that you wish to work with. The only thing that in the bone in the neck in this regard is you are not promised any stipend for your efforts and time as an intern. The letter of recommendation and certificates are the only thing you can bet on

Placement Experience

5

There is a company called Deloitte and other big names that comes into the college for hiring the freshers and people do get placed. Let's face the truth you cannot expect yourself getting into a job with a heavy package just by doing a bcom program. So given this fact companies like Deloitte hiring students for 6-8 lpa is a big deal and not all the colleges can promise you this. The bestest part of all this is enthusiastic placement cell of the department, it takes all hard work to help you get the jobs amd interships of your choice once you are done with your fifth semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college is in the north campus seems a bit extravagant as compared to other off-campus and south-campus colleges offering the same course but personally each penny spent on your college is worth it be it your computer room, library, gym, playground, auditorium. The location of the college is also the upper hand to many competitive exams aspirants as the adda of coachings ie Mukherjee Nagar is near to the campus area. The fee structure includes your examination fees as well so its not that much given the fact that you are getting north campus college of your choice.

Campus Life

5

The life at the campus is reality to all your dreams. The dynamism is worth remembering. If you are an active child seeking the destination to your passions, this place is worth your try. You get ample pf opportunities as there are so many societies covering almost every hobby and passion one can have. You also get chance to go to an inter-college competition and showcase your talent. You get to make best of bonds with the people around you because being in a society you are in situations where you have to sink and swim together.

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although, people say that B.Com doesn't have a great scope to it, I feel like there are many life lessons that we are taught during our college years. Since the introduction of NEP 2020, there has been a rather great emphasis on practical learning. In our college, we are asked for presentations and group projects to promote learning and communication. The presence of SEC and VAC also helps you develop your soft skills, groom your personality and live a happy and healthy life. Exams are help at the end of every semester. There are a few guides and PYQs with the help of which a student can prepare for these exams. They are relatively easy in my opinion and do not require extreme efforts. Overall, it's a great experience and a great opportunity to learn so many things.

In the context of a fictional scenario, the placement scenario would depend on the specific college within Delhi University. Some colleges have robust placement cells that facilitate campus placements with various companies. The placement scenario can vary, and it's advisable to check with the specific college for accurate and up-to-date information.

I choose b.Com because I am from a commerce background. It is an open college class held only on Sundays classrooms are good but washrooms are average. Teachers are experienced and well-educated. Exams are held on every 6 months semester wise you have to study hard to clear exams.
