Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum offers and gives me the chance to think beyond and after. The practicals they made us perform are all helpful and beneficial in many fields and criteria. But i would wish that students who missed the practicals might have the chance to perform accordingly and continually. The frequency and timing of exams along with my perspective on their difficulty level is perfect and adjustable.

Internships Opportunities

5

Theres are various internships offered by the college but a specific one which i know and aware of is the incrementum internship. They collaborate with companies like ease my trip, Adda 247 and AIM group. This specific internship connects students with experience in the fields like finance, marketing, and technology. It can be accessed through the placement cell by registering through their website.

Placement Experience

5

From semester one students become eligible for campus placements. Accenture, HDFC, wipro, ICICI and many more in finance and marketings are being visited . The highest package was 21.5 LPA and the average was 6.5 LPA. Students getting placements ranges from 60 percent to 80 percent.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees i paid during my first year was 36750 and my second year is 34150 and probably my third year will cost me above 30k+ but lesser than the previous one. No extra fees regarding tuition fees, caution fees etc were included during the course completion. As for my course my Batchmates paid the same amount as I regardless of categories but some different science courses from the same college paid higher than mine. For my college there is fee concession for those who need financial aid given by the college among different categories. Even if the fees are decreasing by 2 or 3 percent it's affordable but too expensive.

Campus Life

5

Typically, the annual day for the college is usually held between the months of March April or may. And many more festivals like bhandara, manjari are also celebrated in the month of April. The facilities and technological provisions within the classrooms are outstanding and excellent. Sports and extracurricular activities are also offered annually in the campus by the physical education department as well as sports organization teams. There are various clubs and societies within the college campus such as encore ( western music), annhad( Indian dance), mememis(drama), zenith (western dance) and many more.

Admission

I got Institute of home economics Delhi in my first spot round but later upgraded and got this college, daulat ram. But since the previous college admission fees were too high and out of my preferred place i chose this present one. So far, i did not get rejecttfrom any other college i applied. The admission process for my current college was through online payment after they sent me the links. Mainly, cuet exam was considered for this course and the cutoffs varied accordingly with the different categories.

Faculty

5

The faculty to student ratio comparing with one particular semester class might be around 4:10 with the lab staffs, guest teachers ,asst profs and the Proffesors. They are the most genuine ones and approachable in times of troubles and needs. I like the science faculties , physics, chemistry, zoology, botany, much more than any others but exceptionally i like my biochemistry faculty even more. There are no faculties which i personally not like or dislike of any type. For every semester there is one main final exam but sometimes the college conducts mid sem exams as well. And somehow the exam syllabus are quite tough. But most students successfully clear the exams.

Night Life

2

I don't usually spend my night times outside of college or within the college but during class and college hours, i enjoy walking around the campus areas like the sports ground, reading and studying in the library, enjoying the canteen foods and snacks, and sitting on the garden and lawn areans especially during winter and spring season. The college campus usually opens from 8 am to 5 or 6 pm. Hangout places inside the college includes the sports Complex, botanical Garden, garden area, rangshala and sadbhavna bhawan . Since there are beggars and outside sleepers sleeping and going around the college outside and nearby areas, it is not much safe to roam around at night.

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
