Remarks
As from the very first day, I was pretty much confident that if I pursue my B.tech in Jaipur then it'll be SKIT college only. I didn't avail for any quota, it was a direct admission. There were certain criteria for pursuing B.tech and every year there are some changes in these criteria. If you want to opt for SKIT college, then please consult the admission cell. The admission process was quite easy, We just have to submit the documents, pay the fees of 1sem, and sign a bunch of documents, and it's done. It won't take more than 1hr if you come with prop3 documents.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since my course i.e. Elections and communications. Is a versatile course. One can opt for both private jobs and government jobs from this stream only. Unlike C.S. in the branch, there is very less possibility to get a government job. I guess the faculty and student ratio is well balanced. One faculty can give appropriate to every student. Most of the faculty members are Ph.D. grade professors, so this is a pro of SKIT college and Their teaching method is also good, professors are passionate regarding their subjects. In each semester there are a total of 3 mid-term examinations same no. Of practical examinations. If you study regularly and just revise what has been taught just after the lecture. You can easily pass the exam.
Internships Opportunities
At the end of the 2nd-semester students apply for internships and faculty also help in that. Students make projects of their interests and some of them are very good. It depends on the creativity of a student.
Placement Experience
I think students are eligible from the 4th year only. Companies like Infosys and Wipro have visited the college and made a good no. Of offers. I think the highest was 12 lac per annum and the average package is around 3-4 lac per annum. After getting the degree I will reach out to different institutions of my interests.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of first-year students in the B.tech course are around 95000 (approx). And if students pursue the hostel facility then it will cost 91000 (it is hostel fees which include rooms & food ). So it will cost a total of 2Lakh for 1year with a hostel facility.
Campus Life
There are certain events organized by respective clubs. You can find a lot of books in Library and journals That should suffice for everything you want to read. There are digital labs, every class has surveillance cameras Students take part in a lot of extra-curricular activities like sports, dancing, debates, and more. Students have created a website for the club purpose and that is run by students only.
