Remarks

I applied for AKG and KIET but chose this as I heard that the faculty here was the best. I took the admission via the UPSEE exam and received CSE in the first round of counseling. I actually saw that the faculty here put in quite a lot of effort. The career opportunities are also great.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college follows that standard syllabus provided by AKTU and teachers try their best to provide quality education. The laboratories are well equipped and we get to learn the implementations of all the concepts.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Internships are usually unpaid. Some internships with PPO are also provided. Projects, internships, and MOOC courses are a part of the curriculum as well. Students are free to take internships off-campus. The college tries its best to give all possible opportunities to the students.

Placement Experience

4.5

A lot of companies are provided to the students. Some mass recruiters and elite recruiters as well. Several opportunities for internships are also provided. Companies like TCS, Accenture, Adobe, Lowe's etc recruit from this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is the same as all the other AKTU colleges. After every semester the toppers are provided with small incentives for encouragement. A lot of companies visit the campus for recruitment. So there are more chances to get placed specially for CSE and IT students.

Campus Life

4.5

The cleanliness of the campus is commendable. All the classes of the campus are air conditioned. The Library is also sufficient for the student's needs. All the Extra-curricular activities are supported. There are about 22 to 25 different clubs for such activities. There are technical, cultural and sports fest's as well.

Hostel Facilities

The rooms are mostly two sharing or three sharing. The washrooms and the hostels are kept very clean. The food is also good. The wifi facility is available to all the residents as well as the students. There is a set menu of the week.

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Likes

I liked the faculties of my college they are very supportive and helpful towards the students.
I like the curriculum which more learning based then theory
I like the support that is provided by the college towards the placements of the students

Dislikes

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

Inside Out of KIET

My decision was I could say influenced by my elder brother and I don't regret taking admission here. I applied to all AKTU colleges got rejected only from IET LUCKNOW and KNIT SULTANPUR purely due to percentile reason Other than that I got all the colleges including BIET JHANSI. I chose this one due to placement of the 2022 batch. Admission happens here through JEE MAINS and DIRECT ADMISSION as well For my course if you are general then you should have atleast 90+ percentile if you are from home state that is UP. Direct Admission happens on the basis of 12th result for CSE you need near around 90 percentage...Read More
