Remarks
I gave an exam of UPSEE through which I got admission to the KIET Group of Institutions. I scored 252 out of 400 marks which secured 427th rank for me in the General quota and 128th rank in the Girls quota. Because of such good rank, I had so many options to choose a college for MBA but at last, I settled down for KIET Group of Institutions, which was no doubt, the right decision. I had some good colleges as an option like AKG, GL Bajaj, Galgotias, JSS, ICCMRT Lucknow etc. But the reason for choosing KIET among all is the kind of exposure to the corporate world that KIET gives to its students. The department head of KIET School of Management, Dr. R Srinivasan always strives to let students grow and develop according to this dynamic environment of business world. As I was admitted in KIET through UPSEE exam, the admission criteria was so simple to me. But the students who apply directly for admissions have to face GD and PI for the admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen this course because of my keen interest in Management and coordination. The faculty of KIET School of Management is really nice, can say up to the mark. We have around 300 students in our department currently, including the 1st and final-year students. Around 20 faculty members are there for the whole department. Almost all the teachers are Ph.D. Everyone's teaching method is different, so is the teaching style of our teachers, they all are good and teach in their own professional way. KSOM follows the exam pattern according to the guidelines provided by AKTU.
Internships Opportunities
KIET Group of Institutions provides internships with stipend opportunities to students in different domains. To provide students access to an industrial environment that is not easily available on the campus and to give students expanded opportunities to self-directed learning, the college provides ample internship opportunities to students.
Placement Experience
KIET Group of institutions provide placement facility for the students. In MBA, from 3rd-semester students become eligible for campus placements. The top recruiters of KIET are TCS, Wipro, NTT Data, IBM, Samsung, HUL
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of KIET is Average for MBA courses. It goes like 1.25 lac per annum. Mode of payment can be the demand draft or NEFT. College maintains a clear transparency in all the transactions. You can see each and every detail on your student portal regarding all the transactions.
Campus Life
In KIET, there is much more for the students to look forward to besides the classroom learning, practical sessions, and the libraries. Several Clubs for each domain of management, Business review sessions, Stock Market Game, Mini Project on Business startups, Weekly fun activities etc are the programs initiated by the department recently to add value to student's learning experiences. These activities are fully driven by students under the guidance of experienced faculty and mentors
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities in KIET are good. There are 3 girls' hostels namely Gargi, Saraswati, and Sarojini. For boys, there are several hostels namely Tagore, CV Raman, Chandragupta, Aryabhatt, Vivekanand. Each hostel has two residential wardens who are monitored by Rector.
