University with a Real Difference.

I applied to Hitkarni College of Engineering and Technology and was about to join the college but due to some personal reasons, I have to stay in my hometown so I had to choose this University. To be honest there is nothing that much exciting or innovative but just a University that is always involved in promoting their university to get more and more admissions. Also, it is full of fake placements, the fake placement I meant here is metaphorical. I had three campus placements from this university but I am not working any of them because either the company is not genuine or just a typical consultancy. Though the faculty was good in my department still University should bring some experienced people too so that the students can do even better. But as I said University is just involved in promoting to get new admissions.

I chose this course because I think Civil Engineering is a creative career, the vast number of different designs for buildings, bridges, and different structures shows how civil engineers have to think outside of the box to solve a wide range of challenges. Engineers work in teams to solve real-world problems, so I am a team player, so I found it is the perfect career for me. I think the course at this University needs to upgrade. Why? That, I not gonna explain, but it needs to be upgraded. If I talk about faculty, in this University the faculty was not that enough and also not so experienced but the way they handled such a core branch is seriously appreciable. The teaching method of a few of the faculties was really preeminent.

Hmmm, considering the fees, the facility that is being provided was not up to the mark. If you hadn't paid the fees on time you just have to stand in line outside the administrative office during exams, so by this one should understand that the university is more focused on money (fees) more than the exams. Scholarship, Financial Assistance, and Job with stipend or campus placement is just an illusion that's it.

Annual Fest was a cultural program that was Spandan on alternate years and tech fest that was Sigma on alternate years. There were no Clubs, no Social Life Discussion and Infrastructures are not that much exciting it is just a box with, not even a single building which is innovative. Only subject-related books are available in the library and in a limited amounts. No amenities, just a room with two doors and that typical benches.
