My College Review

I applied for IPU and some other colleges in my locality but chose this one due to the facilities and opportunities provided here. As I am a general candidate I got no quota/reservation during admission. The admission criteria in the university is a minimum of 50% marks in 12th and there are no minimum age criteria. The overall admission process was simple. First, I visit the university then I fill the admission form and then pay the fees to reserve my seat. University also provides counseling to the students, for better future development. Most of the process is carried out in online mode.

The course curriculum is very relevant. I choose this course because I have an interest in coding and Computers. The course curriculum of this university provides good theoretical as well as practical knowledge to the students. Faculty Student ratio in this university is 1:50. All faculty members are very well qualified and their teaching method is great. Most of the teachers have completed their PhD and have proper knowledge in their fields. All teachers are very much supportive and always ready to help. Exams were held 3 times in each semester, there was Mid Term Test-1, then Mid Term Test-2, then final end sem exams are conducted. If you attend all the lectures carefully and study well, then you can easily pass all the exams with good marks as the majority of the things asked are told in the class.

There are paid and unpaid internships and students basically get both offers. We have to do the minor project in the 3rd semester and in the 4th semester, we have to do a major project. The average stipend from the internship is around 15000 - 20000. Various companies like Google, Amazon, L&T provide internship opportunities to the students of our college and roles offered and stipends vary on the student's calibre and their contribution to the company.

After the completion of the third year i.e from the 4th year onwards, the students start preparing for the placement exam. Various companies like Amazon, Adobe, Google, L&T visit here and the highest package offered was approximately about 40 lacs. The average package offered lies at approximately 7 lakh - 8 lakh. Our campus offer 100% placement to every student. After completing the degree I plan to do MBA or continue my studies abroad.

The fees structure of this university is very affordable as compared to other universities. University also does not charge any extra fees in the name of development from their students. University provides scholarships to the students based on marks scored in 12th. University also provides financial assistance to those students who are financially weak. University also provides loan facilities to students with a low-interest rate. Students can take advantage of various scholarships by studying and doing hard work. Many companies visit campus for jobs and the average offer made is approximately 5L.

University organizes annual fest and tech fest every year for the students which happen in March and April and various small scale events are organized after regular intervals of time. Every department has their own library and all books related to course curriculum is available in the library. There is never a shortage of books. Classrooms are well furnished with WiFi and projectors and other facilities for practicals. University also organizes sport and extracurricular activities every month for the development of their students. Cricket ground, basketball court, badminton court, table tennis table, jumping arenas, swimming pool is also there in the university. Some social groups and clubs are also there for the welfare of students and the university like Literary Council, Hack Club, Photography Club etc.

The accommodation for the hostel is great. All necessary services are provided to the students and all the rooms are well maintained. We all get every facility that is required for the student. The menu is really good & the hostel price is also very affordable. The gym service is also provided for the student who is interested and registered at the time of counselling. Nearby many private places are also available for students if they wish to stay outside the campus.
