Entrance Preview

Fro LL.B. from mats law school no such particular entrance exam was required a personal interview with a graduate degree was the mere requirement. it has a very diversified syllabus structure to become a legal expert or a good lawyer.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course structure is very diversified including almost all the required Indian as well as few international laws which a legal expert must be aware of, also the elective subjects are very interesting as well as diversified and there is a great choice of electives.

Internships Opportunities

Yes it provides internship in the civil court or with any legal advisor group who take part in imparting training to the law students after the completion of second year of their course.

Placement Experience

3

The placement opportunities here are not very good as compared to the national law schools but the management is working hard to get good companies for placement. As far as I know last year the highest package was around 6 lakh p.a. and the average was 3.5 lakh p.a.

College Events

3

College events such a all India moot court competition , sports competition, teachers day celebration, annual fest are conducted every year for students refreshment also the independence day and republic day celebration takes place every year .The events are conducted on a large basis where more than 2000 students take part.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is really feasible and not are all expensive. Like wise for a three year LL.B. course the overall fee structure is around seventy thousand bucks including all the examination form fees but there is an increment in the fee structure which has reached it to around one lakh for overall course.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there are few options available to the reserved category students and many of my classmates who belong from that category avail the same. Also those who have good educational background get scholarships and concession in the fees.

Exam Structure

The exam structure includes 60 marks of theory and 40 marks practical in which there is project submission, assignments and case studies on recent judgements as well as class room exercise also the attendance in Moot court organised in the college frequently.

Admission

I went to the admission cell of the college before the closing of the admission dates and got the form to be filled and submitted including the fee and the required documents of my past education. It includes 10 plus 2 plus 3 degrees as well as transfer certificate , character certificate from the past university also the gap certificate if any required.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is around average because it has a typical system of attending lectures and keeping up your attendance which disables student to explore the creative side of themselves. The semester exams are conducted in every six months with 1 assignment and 1 Internal exam each sem.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I took was bba llb.. as I was interested in management aspects along with wit law, the structure gives for an integrated study of both the subjects at the same time. The student-faculty ratio is good and the faculty are very approachable for any academic help and the atmosphere is quite free and I feel that is a big factor for a law school. The term exams were always held in time and can be passed with low to mid difficulty if given with some sincerity as 40% marks are allowed to internals.and 60% to written exams. and passing is 50%.

Remarks:

Overall, the college is really good and it is upon you how you want to make the best out of the innumerable opportunities available. I believe the faculty can get better and more professionals can be recruited to teach. The mess facility was bad but with the new Vice Chancellor in our college, things are starting to get better. We also have juice shops, laundry services, AMUL, fast food centres and salons in our college itself. The library is huge and has access to all kinds of material we might need. Otherwise, the library is always open to suggestions on what the students need.

Admission:

I had to write CLAT to get into this National Law University. I chose it because I wanted to become a lawyer. I was a science student but then I wasn't sure if I wanted to become an engineer. But then I saw CLAT as an option. I explored the career of a lawyer. I used to think it's the traditional court profession but understanding later, I got to know about the corporate experience provided by the law firms. As I wanted to get into corporate sector I chose CLAT over JEE examination.

Remarks:

My university is average in everything. People are doing good here. Many of its alumnus are in very good law firms or company, some have cracked civil services, some have judicial services, some have done or are doing their P.G from very good colleges in the world like Harvard, NUS etc. So we can see it as a good investment by taking admission here.
