Remarks

I have registered for GGSIP University and Galgotias University only and now I am in Galgotias University. IPU has admission criteria which include JEE marks above 70 percepts since I didn't give the exam so I am not applicable for IPU. I didn't avail myself of any quota for admission to Galgotias University. The criteria for admission to Galgotias University is you must have an aggregate of 65% in 12th to opt for CSE. The minimum age is 18. The counseling was well the alumni told so about courses and their campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Term exams are conducted when nearly 2 chapters are totally completed which in Galgotias University is called CAT examinations. The university also conducts IA exams after the completion of each chapter. Total IA's conducted in a semester are 6 and CAT's are 3

Class Size: 54Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Internship opportunities bear plenty. University is particular about the future of the students. The internship companies are BSNL, BHEL, DMRC, DUCAT, RAILWAY, NIIT, IIT, PANASONIC. The chances of gain of experience and knowledge. The university is good for internships.

Placement Experience

In the last year of graduation, the students are eligible for campus placement. Major companies visit university are Infosys, TCS, cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, etc. The average package is 2.5-4 lakh. The highest campus placement is 30+ lakh for Amazon. The university has 95% student placement. My plans are to complete my graduation to be placed as a full-stack developer.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am pursuing Btech CSE and the fee is 180000 (includes examination fees). As studying in a private college I found it pocket-friendly to other private colleges. University provides scholarships to those students who had a good percentage in jee. University has a good placement percentage

Campus Life

University conducts annual fest every year. In previous years university hosted actors Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan, Kartik Arya. The library is good and big. A lot of course books are available in the library. Classrooms are big consisting of virtual boards. Fully ac classrooms. The university has is concerned about students' health and safety. University has a basketball court and a big ground. For self-defense, the university has karate coaches and a separate room for it. Ecell and EverythingGalgotias are the social media group on Instagram controlled by students

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

I wanted to go to VIPS, Pitampura. I did get admission there but they did not update the 4 year course policy which was newly released by the govt on their website and ipu website. Due to this my budget messed up and I had to back up. I specially prepared for this exam but in the end I ended up going to a private university where I feel like I wasted my time and money. This university is not how it may look like. It may be good in terms of fees but the faculty and courses that get taught are like as if pursuing two degrees with no meaning. The admission process was simple and east. Fill an application form and go to GCET and get everything done there that's all. No complicated thing....Read More
