Entrance Preview
I did write SRM entrance exam for getting admitted to SRM and I got a rank of 418 from the overall candidates attended the exam. I chose this college for good environment and the culture it has.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum can be downloaded in SRM main page. First year of MBA will be just common papers and nothing with specific electives. Second year, you will be asked to select from various electives such as HR, Marketing, Finance, Operations, System and Hotel Management. Both the years you will be asked to do projects in our specialised areas of summer internship and project.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, we had chance for summer internship at the end of first year along with stipend for that particular period. I had a chance to work with CROMA, an electronics shop for couple of months. We had few companies such as CROMA, ICICI, GRE edge and lot of other companies.
Placement Experience
Placement we're extremely good and the experience was fantabulous. We had chance of attending multiple campus interviews of which if one gets selected in a company they are not supposed to attend the next company but we had been given multiple opportunities to attend different companies. Infosys - 4.5 LPA, ICICI - 5.8 LPA, TCS - 4.8 LPA, RBS - 6.0 LPA.
College Events
We had lot of cultural, technical and management fests such as Milan - The cultural fest which happens for four days annual day cultural program. Tarana - we call this as The SRM Talent fest which is the perfect opportunity for all talented students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship has been rewarded year on year for those who score good marks in the 12th standard and those who secure good and high marks in the academic year will be provided with scholarship which they generally wave off the complete tuition fees for the year.
Campus Life
Campus life will be such an exciting and great place to sharpen your skills and to learn. Gender ratio is most likely to be 6:4. Diversity of students are majoring outside of Tamil Nadu. You will be provided with lot of opportunities to learn leap and contribute. SRM provides chances to improve knowledge through labs, sports activities and inter college events.
Exam Structure
Exam structure was nice and had enough leaves in between the each and every exam. Time given for the exam are sufficient and can give enough time to revise. Labs classes will be fun filling and tension less where you need not get tensed or irritated during these labs days. Labs exams were good and we got enough time and proper training during lab hours to get well trained.
Faculty
Faculties were very well qualified and have vast experience and exposure. They show lot of interest and provide different methods in making the students understand the content. We can get to reach faculties any time if there are any doubts. Faculties are generally polite and got lot of potential in teaching experience.
