Admission requirements generally are passed class 12th with PCM and must not have got less than 60% marks in PCM. For admission one can directly visit the college and gather required information and other queries regarding your chosen programme
Course Curriculum Overview
In my case, I studied Civil Engineering there. It was my Interest to go for Civil Stream. As far as the faculty was concerned it was managed by the department very well. New, as well as experienced professors, were there to guide us. We had almost 45 students in our class with 8 to 9 teachers. Exams were to be conducted once every six months thereby making it an 8-semester course for 4 years. It was mandatory for all students to take all the internal exams as there were internal marks to be rewarded based on the scores.
Internships Opportunities
Internships were to be done by students every semester or they would go for the project. They could find the intership site on their own or college would provide them. Marks were awarded for the internship as well as the project. However, when it came to the stipend I hardly heard of anyone getting it.
Placement Experience
The placement was good I guess. The placement firms would usually come in 6th or 7th semester. Not many companies visited for Civil Engineering. But yes there were a few companies that came at my time in other branches. They usually offered around 3lakh per annum. However, the percentage of students getting placed was very low. I planned to get a good job at that time from the college itself. However, I got it out of campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
In all the four years there was no actual fee hike apart from the examination fee. Per year fee of the institute was 100000. Financial help was given to the children belonging to different social categories.
Campus Life
Annuy fests were conducted regularly as and when the time was there for them. Tech fests were mainly conducted in nearby either September or April. The facilities were ok. One thing which I personally didn't like was that there were restrictions related to the library and walking across the corridors.
