Remarks

Overall our college is the best place to enjoy your college life after your HSC (if you choose engineering) . but placements are getting drastically reduced in some departments and the faculties should be improvised.

Entrance Preview

HSC (STATE BOARD) , 1103 maths - 194 ,physics - 187 ,chemistry - 193its the best engineering institute that is opted by state board students.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

It has some really good subjects focusing alternate fuels, simulation of ic engines, control system, vehicle aerodynamics, test instrumentation on vehicles, special type of vehicles and many other subjects that focuses on the basics and gives ideas about it to optimize it for the betterment.

Internships Opportunities

Yeah it provides some internship offers to the 3rd years but unfortunately for our department we didn't get any , there will always be usually one company that will come . other departments have more chances of getting an internship.

Placement Experience

1.5

We have core and it placement opportunities . for this year you can be placed in one it and one core. if one got placed in a core company he cant attend other core companies , the same goes up for the it companied too we used to have 3-4 it companies which are termed as bulk, all the departments attend it.but there are really very few core companies coming for recruiting our department, summing it up placements are far better in other departments compared to mine.

College Events

3.5

Many events are celebrated in our college , we have culturals at both the odd and even semesters .intra college during the odd ones are called SIVARANJANI and inter college culturals during the even ones MITAFEST . there are also other functions such as the rotofest , homefest (for the hostellers ) symposiums for all the semesters (again both even and odd ) .our department function is called as the SPARK (odd) and AUTOMEET (even) , AUTOMEET is one of the biggest national level symposiums where about 5000 students all over the country participates.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Obviously the fees structure is very feasible as it is runned and controlled by the government.the fees is in the range of 4000 for sc/st students per semester and in the range of 17000 for other caste students.the admission fees is around 16000 and it varies for some departments and an extra 8000 is paid which will be refunded at the end of 4th year.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are numerous scholarships offers but there isn't any surity that the amount will get to us. SC/ST students get more benefits of the scholarships with the parents income certificate. i haven't got any so i'm not sure of these.

Campus Life

1

I would say campus life is the best things in my college with junior senior relationships , complete freedom to attend the classes or to go home . our college regularly participates in the zonals every year with state level palyers studying in our college. there are many workships and events conducted for the benefits of students and to win some money.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

It is either 2 students or 4 students per room (according to the hostel) each with their individual beds and a little space in the middle with two cupboards for storing things .rooms can be made with some spaciousness food is normal and water facilities must be improved there will be water shortage at times. the hostel fees including everything is around 18000 for veg and 21000 for non veg per semester . since i'm a day scholar ,these are the only things i knew.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni's helped us a lot in placements for our college since there will always an MIT'ian in every major companies at a higher posts such as the CEO's GM's HR's . but this is getting drastically reduced there are several reasons due to increasing the number of students in the college and many more.there some restrictions to prevent ragging every year alumni meet is conducted after the even semester symposiums .senior help us by guiding in events and competition such as the baja etc.

Exam Structure

We have 2 semesters per year and there will 3 assessment tests per semester, there will be also laboratory exams for all the semester .there will be an assessment every month .it wont be hectic always except during the assessment exams and laboratory exams. all the other time we will so chilled out that we will be almost tension free . we can enjoy ourselves and this is the only reason that im glad choosing this college.

Admission

After finishing my higher secondary examination (that is the twelfth standard).an application form is provided by anna university its filled and submitted after somedays, the student are called for counselling at anna university ceg campus according to the cut off marks after choosing the college, after some days we go to the college to get admitted.

Faculty

1.5

Faculty wise and sponsorship wise our college is little backward and it needs to be improvised in a lot of aspects . more interested faculties and the ones who can take us to various laboratories and show us the real nature of the working principles and problems of the vehicles are very necessary today.but thats not happening in here.

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
