Decent experience

The admission process was smooth considering application process became online in 2016 . The moment we clear the cut off ,we are supposed to submit documents physically. The whole process took around 1 hour which I think is pretty reasonable, there was enough crowd that it took a bit time for my number to come. The criteria of my course is : Should have mathematics in 12th class .English as a subject too. I applied to ramanujan college and rajdhani college . Rajdhani was below in ranking as compared to pgdav and it was far from the place I used to live ,so I dropped the plan . Ramanujan college didnt have a proper infrastructure at the time and it was still building its rank among other colleges . That's why I chose pgdav ,college is pretty decent and the package in my course was actually good .

The exams used to happen on time and the paper level of difficulty was medium for 2nd year and 3rd year . Paper was made in balanced way where you could find atleast 2 or 3 questions with good weightage of marks without any difficulty if you have studied something.

Placements are average. I dont think they were bad but reasonable for an undergrad. The highest placement was of 40000 or 50000 per month which was given to one of the students of my class only. Pgdave has the name for good placements in Bcom honors, so if you are taking that as a subject I dont think placements are the issue.

The fee structure is pretty decent as it is a government college. Yearly 12000 is not at all bad personally for me. As a student, I never felt bad or pressured in the financial aspect. I never took any financial assistance, so I am not sure about it. Famous financial companies like Wipro,EY came to our campus for placements which I think is really great. But there were only a few who offered a relevant profile. Few of the companies were for only call center jobs and few of them had weird conditions like working in night , signing a contract or something for not leaving the company before a specific date.

Life is actually great. Whatever I heard about the crowd being not that good isn't actually that bad.i made great friends and society are also very happening and interactive. I was a member of the dance club and we used to have a lot of fun, attending and organizing the fest.
