Remarks
First, we had Counseling on the college campus only. Then after checking the student's 12th percentage of PCM, which was approx more than 65% we were opted for our branches according to our rank. Then after counselling and getting our desired/undesired branch they called the students after a month. Gave them their desired hostel and from the next 3-4 days our classes started. Yeah,, that was smooth.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this stream just because I was fascinated by circuits and telecommunications and all that. And choosing this branch gives more opportunities for government jobs also. The faculty: students ratio is 1:30 approx. Mostly the faculties are from IITs having PhD and Masters degrees with good teaching techniques. Exams were there every 2 months and I would say not too tough.
Internships Opportunities
There are many companies that come for internship opportunities. Roles are various from software to consulting to business. The package varies from 10000 per month - 30000 per month. We have to do 2 projects - one minor in the 6th semester and another major in the 7th semester. Reviewed by the top faculties in that domain.
Placement Experience
From the 5th sem companies start visiting for Internships and placement starts from the 7th semester. There are many companies which you can check on kiit.ac.in. The highest package every year is approx 45 LPA and the average is 3.5 LPA. 70-80% placement record. I'll do a master's after my degree after working for 2 years.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is 1,50,000 per semester. The hostel fee depends on the type of hostel you choose. The scholarship we get from KIITEEE rank or the top performers every year is based on CGPS. I am currently a 4th-year student. (7th semester) and companies have started visiting with boom despite pandemic.
Campus Life
Campus life is AMAAZZIINNG. Alot of fest, standup comedy, events happen every 3-4 months. The classroom is amazing again with air conditioning, a projector, etc. Extracurricular activities are here. You can even get opportunities here to play at the state or even national or international level. There is a hell of a lot of clubs.
