Our University is RTU recognized university. And there are a lot of facilities on the college campus like WiFi connection, sports complex, library, and others. Therefore, these are reasons that made me change my mind and take admission into this college. The admission process was pretty convenient and easy as there were so many members to guide us throughout the process. To enrol me on this college, firstly I filled the application form. In an application form, I filled my personal details including scores obtained in 10th, 12th, graduation. The minimum percentage marks should be 75 on the 12th board.

I want to be a successful mechanical engineer and also want to enhance my professional and technical skills so I chose this course. The course curriculum of my university is decided in such a way that it helped me to gain effective communication skills and helped me to recognize the social impacts of problem solving, decision making and creative skills by understanding contemporary issues. Besides I am also able to apply fundamental technical knowledge and skills in different areas such as Production, Design, Thermal, Industrial and allied fields of Mechanical Engineering. I got the opportunity to learn about thermodynamics in the second semester. The subject of Soft skills is included in all semesters in the course curriculum.

Internships are really important in college life, while you are studying making money as well as gaining practical knowledge and understanding the market and the processes of how the thing works. In Arya, some companies offer free as well as paid internships. Some local companies like eclicks, web solutions, and others offer internships in your college years that offer an average of 5000 rupees per month as an intensive for the internships. Most internships are about marketing or you can say finding customers for the company. In some cases calling customers and in other cases visiting places to generate sales.

From the sixth semester, you are eligible to participate in campus placements. Several companies like Schlumberger, Eaton, Tata Motors, Reliance Industries Ltd, Uflex, Essar, etc. came for campus placements and packages go as high as 10 lakhs per annum. But on average the packages are low around 3.5 lakhs per annum because most of the students didn't avail to crack all the interviews. If I calculate in percentage around 80% students cracks job from campus placements. And most from off-campus or goes for higher studies.

I paid for my course near about 2 lakh 20 thousand annually. My university provides several types of scholarships which are based on the marks obtained in particular exams/subjects (decided by the particular department) and the scholarship schemes are categorised into fifteen categories. I was a student of B.tech in Mechanical Engineering and was eligible for getting a 25% scholarship in tuition fees.

The pleasant weather condition in Arya College attracted me the most. Our campus is very clean and hygiene is maintained in the campus as well as in the hostel rooms. Well furnished class, Well and modern instrument equipped laboratories, Library along with Digital library available in my university. I have participated in several events like Intra and inter college events, seminars, conferences and workshops which are organised by my department. Moreover, many clubs like The Power club by electrical department, The .NET, etc. organise different events.

There are hostels for boys and girls, separately on the campus. Hostel fees are actually very less compared to other universities. We can't say that the hostel facility is the best, but it is pretty decent. There are 2 in 1, single rooms available. Free wifi is available in the hostel. The wifi speed is decent. Mess is available so close to the hostels. The food quality is average. The food is strictly vegetarian. There are stalls available near the hostel where we can buy snacks and stuff. The hostel fee is around Rs 70000 per annum.
