Remarks

The admission is based on online counseling, we have to register and choose the colleges under the university of our choice and pay 2000INR registration fees. The final cut-off will be released by the college and you will be able to see the allotment letter in which the name of the college allotted to you mentioned with the course. After that, if you are interested pay the semester fees and secure your admission. The admission criteria for the B.tech cse program: Minimum 60% marks in 10+2 in PCM and English. No age gap between the study.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course is based on the overall development of the student. In this first year, you have to study the subjects of applied sciences. Then in the further semesters, you have to study the core subjects of your domain. The faculty members are really very helpful and understanding. They taught us in a very effective manner. All are experienced and qualified and have decent teaching skills.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Our college provides internships in foreign-based business plans. They also motivate the students and ask us about the various plans by various companies. The students appeared for many online contests in various MNCs like Microsoft, TCS, etc, and secured their internships in many domains.

Placement Experience

3

Our college hardly provides any placement or internships. They mostly focus on business plans. They provide the students with financial assistance and addresses the student about the various business plans. Recently our college students got placed in various MNCs by applying off-campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure: Total Fees: 85000/year tuition fees: 60000/year URF: 150000/year Hostel fees: 50000/year Scholarship: 100% off on tuition Fee for the first-year students who secured 90 or more than 90% in 12th. 100% off on tuition fees for the students who scored more than 90% in JEE mains.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus is quite large and amazing, many fests are organized by our college every semester. The library of my college is really very nice and the collection of books of every category are decent. Many sports competitions are organized by the college on inter or intra college basis.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The rent of the hostel is quite nominal, they give really good facilities to us at this decent price. In the room, 2 students are there who have to share the room. we have cooler, fan, geyser and 24/7 hour water and electricity supply. The quality of the food is average, neither bad nor good. The menu is decided by the students and changes every month. There are no registration fees for the hostel.

Other Applied Colleges

Graphic Era university | B.tech computer science and eng.

The fees of this college is high and not affordable, that's why I tried for government college.

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
