The admission process was smooth everything was done online through the JAC website. I applied for VIT Vellore IIIT and I didn't want to study in these colleges as DTU has a better result and has better facilities than these colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose mechanical engineering as that is the subject I love and prosper in. The faculty is 4 males 1 female and all of them are well versed in there subjects, due to the classed being online sometimes the communication is not so well but we manage. 3 of them are PhD in the subject and others have completed there masters, there teaching method is almost the same as everyone using video lectures and then explaining the concepts on a white board. The exams were held almost every month and they were moderately difficult, not an issue if you're versed with the subject
Fees and Financial Aid
This year's fee is around 2 Lakh Pa, there was a hike of 10K this year There are lots of opportunities here from research to PSUs and private companies, big companies like Google and Microsoft are open to whereas others require specific branches or GPA. I haven't got any jobs yet but I'm doing an internship which I got through the college itself.
Campus Life
Considering the recent issues of covid there's no college life but before that, the crowd was really good, fest like engifest held in the month of October is the grandest fest here. The library is huge and has lots of books and journals I myself have issues 3 books from there in the last month. Classrooms have ACs and good seats with windows etc. The college has 4 basketball courts badminton courts gym football ground cricket ground, squash and many more There are many groups like IEEE, pratibimb, Altair, rotaract club dtu, let's talk, munsoc
