Remarks

I applied for IET lko, JSS Noida and Galgotia College and my rank was too good i.e., around 6000 and my target was to get admission in civil from any government college but unfortunately, I didn't get any government college and in the counseling process, I got galgotia college with fee wavier so my fee for academic is zero (0).

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I am interested in civil engineering and i just want to learn the concept of desiging and construction. All faculty are good and post graduate from IITs and NITs and max are phD holder from IITs. There are 2 sections of 60 students each

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 125600 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I am from the core branch i.e., civil engineering that's why am not able to join software companies because I am weak in coding and due to covid I didn't get any campus internship and out campus internship with stipend also but online I done many training like autoCAD staddpro and one online internship also as a engineer designer

Placement Experience

3.5

From starting of 7 semesters you are eligible for placements and there are many companies visited in GET college for example wipro, congnizant, etc. But for core branches there is no company visited sometimes ultratech visited to campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is quite low than other private colleges. I think approx 125600 per year is fees and the campus environment is good. I got Fee wavier that's why my fee is zero and for this scholarship, you have to score a good rank in the entrance exam and your family income is less than 100000

Campus Life

4.5

There are many functions are organized by our college clubs. The main fest of the college is Unifest. And there is departmental fest also for every department. Unifest is for 3 days. On teacher day and engineer day and independence day. We celebrate all these days with full Masti

Hostel Facilities

3.5

From starting I stay in my campus hostel. The environment of the hostel and campus is good and the size of the room is also good but one thing is bad i.e., the food of the mess. This is a drawback of camous hostel. And there are many other privates hostels are available.

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

A good and friendly environment on campus where students from all around nearby cities and states stay together in harmony.
Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

I really like my college . It is very good college around the meerut

Likes

I liked the faculties of my college they are very supportive and helpful towards the students.
I like the curriculum which more learning based then theory
I like the support that is provided by the college towards the placements of the students

Dislikes

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

Galgotias College Brutal Honest Review

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
