Remarks

Kerala's first private college. One of the few colleges in Kerala where my course - Applied Electronics and Engineering was available. Admission process was through Kerala Entrance exam. One of the oldest colleges in Kerala. Vast infrastructure is one of the major plus points of the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum, Academics, Faculties are good. There are qualified faculties in all department who are dedicated. Course Curriculum laid down by the University (APJ Abdul Kalam Technological Univeristy) is being followed.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are not college provided. The college and faculty helps in finding internships and will help in prioritising the internships. But most part is to be done by the students. According to the University internships is mandatory.

Placement Experience

Placement is average. Students are eligible for placements from the seventh semester. Most companies coming for recruitment makes it mandatory for the students to not have any standing arrears at that point of time.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee for a general category student through merit is 75000 per year excluding mess (Hostel) bill (which will be around 3000 per month). Management quota is 100000 per year. NRI quota is 150000 per year. Scholarships are available for various backward castes and for students who excel in academics.

Campus Life

Campus life is pretty good. Sports activities include Cricket, Basketball, Badminton and Volleyball. All these sports have separate courts. There are a lot of clubs inside the college. IEEE is one major club.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is one of the major attractions of the college. Personally that is where I had most fun in. The hostel has 4 blocks out of which one block is exclusively for 1st year students. The other 3 blocks are split among the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students.

Admission

No. There wasn't any group discussion, interview, or written test for the admission. The admission process is through Kerala Entrance and students can register to the college through Kerala Govt allotment process

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

The college ambiance is good and green campus and plastic free

In my course the qualified teachers are not allowed
Very less programmes are available in the college,
The canteen is not well developed and ambiance is poor

Curriculum of my course is good it covers all about the subject and its give a good knowledge about the subject and the teaching method and the hours of a topics also good. But the syllabus is not good for the timely complition.

The raging issue have in our college. And I don't really like that thing in our college.There may seniors get suspension because of it sometimes it's get serious that their parents will come. Its ok if the raging is for some fun and just asking but i
There is a thing that i don't like is that is the juniors can't participate in dance session for programs that occurring in our college. Only seniors are participating for it and also the dressing for some event are controlled by the Seniors. Buuutt
In college facilities there is not that much places for sitting during the intervals. That makes everyone bothered.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The course is available in private college therefore there must be fee. The admission fees for this course is 25000.and for those who take admission by management they want to give 50000.after that there is semester fees, which is 16000 for every semester.Our lab and tuition fees are including in this, exam fee we want to pay on the time of exam. In college competitive our course have a greater fee comparing to others. There is scholarship for the category's like SC, ST. Not know the exact amount of scholarship.

Likes

Better hygeine , clean and peaceful surronding for a student to study.
Extra curricular activities: like sports , arts , quiz competition , cme programs are held for better purpose

No proper campus for relaxation and extra time after college.
Building is under construction with workers most of the time.

The curriculum we follow is cbme and they provide with us a better competitive areas and competancy based learning. We have feild works and community works than the collge areas . Will let the student to think out of the frame . My experience about my college

Likes

Smart class room is super and magnificent
Wifi availability is inside the campus and fast connection
International level infrastructure drinking water availability

Dislikes

No better placements, very poor placement services
Experienced staffs is less and very few teachers is good
No regular bus service in to college and is very poor

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like electrical and electronics so i choose this course. The curriculum prepares me well in the field. Need Improve in internship field. Need improvement in friendly teaching. Exams are coming so fast we don't get much time for relaxation.. Exams is simple.

I don’t know because I haven’t attain any internships

I applied to several reputed colleges which offering similar programs in AI AND DS such rajagiri ,CET , Amal Jyothy etc.but in merit i get a college named mentor in ernakulam which is not having a good placements or acedamic performance and no a good transport itself.and I choose this college because a very good •academic reputation •infrastructure facilities •placement opportunities •lactation and accessibility •scholarships or financial aids This combination of factor made this college a ideal choice for my academic and professional aspire. Yes I did rejected by one college of my 12th percentage but they call me at last but I choose this college because that is a very bad in placements or academic performance and I focused more to a good academic and much better college for my career.and at last this made me to understand my strength and areas for grow and made to focus on making the opportunities that I have in this college and made me for the personal growth too and to build a strong gang certifications in the key areas too.the admission process in our college is mix of merit and management quotas depending upon the course.
