I have chosen computer science because I had developed an interest in that field from a very young age. The professors here are extremely friendly and brilliant. The teaching methods are developed in such an way that no student faces trouble understanding the concepts. The student's teacher ratio is also very impressive. The final exam conducted by VTU is moderately difficult but the internals and teacher's notes are very helpful for students to prepare.

The placement department informs the students about internships. The teachers also work with the tech alumni network to provide internship opportunities for students. The Center of Excellence at CMRIT also provides internships for eligible students. The CoE helps students with projects and research in their dedicated field.

CMrit has one of the most cooperative placement departments in Bangalore. They have a special program for students from first to final year, called TYL where they train the students in critical problem solving, communication, interpersonal and technical skills. This is to ensure that the student is fully equipped to enter the industry confidently. Every year, more than 100 companies visit CMRIT with 24LPA being the highest package and 4 being the average. The placement department is extremely supportive of specially appointed coordinators to help students land the job they want, and they charge 10,000 for this training.

The cost for CSE and ISE is generally higher than the other dept for admissions throughCOMEDK. The college fee is 30K for every student but the tuition fee varies depending on the mode of admission. It's around 50K for KCET and 1.8 lakh for COMEDK. Scholarships are provided under SC/ST caste, defense, single girl child etc quotas upon submission of relevant documents.

There are many clubs and communities run by students. If any students wish to start a new one, they are encouraged to do so. The college has decent infrastructure like a basketball court, a volleyball court, big classrooms, a football ground, an auditorium etc. The library has a wide range of books from subjects related to reference for external exams like GRE, GATE, GMAT etc. The labs have computers with the latest software installed. And the campus is WIFI enabled.
