GATE 2012, Score 549 I am interested in doing research and work related to research. Have heard lots from friends who were my seniors from where i did B. Tech. Faculty and Facility both are far better than other NITs and as per my GATE score i was not getting admissions in IITs. So choosing this college and compared to NITs was a better option.

Internship are provided by college itself and I used to get 8000 per month stipend. For which i used to take labs of Btech students. So it was a great learning experience which improved my knowledge.

The Placement Cell in DA-IICT works professionally with the Industry to explore opportunities for DA-IICT graduates for placement. The Cell makes its best efforts to reach out to all sub-sectors of the industry in order to ensure that DA-IICT graduates spread across the industry.

SYNAPSE which is one of the best event and its growing every year. This is annual function which takes place every FEB. Youth Run is an event organised by Synapse,DAIICT promoting a social cause. Fashion show is part of which we used to participate.

50000 per year its not that expensive for M.tech as you get stipend. For B.tech its 70000 which might not be affordable for every one. FOR M.tech student one can pay 25000 per semester with hostel fees 10000. So one has to 35000 per semester. This is regarding hostel and semester fees. For B.tech semester fees are 50000 which is including hostel fees. So for a semester you need to pay just 50000 .

All the students admitted to the B Tech program, with an AIEEE All India Rank better than 5000, would be awarded merit scholarship equivalent to full tuition fees. In addition, five merit-cum-means scholarship would be offered to the students with the highest All India Ranks in AIEEE, subject to a means test.

It was chilled out as sometime open book exams were there and sometime just objective kind of of more than 1 hour. There is not fixed exam structure followed by any faculty in DA-IICT. Each Faculty conduct exam accordingly. And students are graded by respective Faculty. DA-IICT follows a choice based semester system (CBSS). Students are awarded letter grades on a 10-point scale (SPI/CPI).

First and Foremost you need to fill in the forms which are advertised in local newspapers. It costs some 1000 Rs at that time. After that merit list is prepared according to the gate score and you are called for interview. The interview is not exactly the interview its just formal interview and you get admission if you score good in GATE exam according to the merit list.

All Faculty PHD pursued from reputed Foreign university (Carnegie Mellon), IITs etc. with great research experience. As PHDs, the faculty are highly qualified to teach particular subject. Moreover Lab Facility are well and managed by the Lab assistant and Teaching Assistant. Faculty obtain research grants from government project.
