Remarks
The admission is done through an all-India entrance exam conducted in many parts of the country at different centers. The minimum marks for external and internal students in my course are approx. 50 and 40 respectively. Unfortunately, there was no counseling due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the admission procedure was done online.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I love corporate culture and want to be a part of it. The faculty is good and supporting at times we need help, the faculty to student ratio would be approximately 1:20. I must say that the faculty is very highly qualified, most of the professors have completed their PhD and many have done multiple PhD also. The term exams are quite average difficult and it's not too difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
There are many internships available for the students provided by many companies during the entire course. The stipend depends completely on the company providing the internship and the type of work they're providing.
Placement Experience
The placements of my colleagues are good and acceptable if we perform good during the placement period. Students become eligible for placements once they get into the final year. The companies that visit our college are mostly commercial companies in KPO and BPO like Accenture, Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro Ltd., etc. Around 30-40% students can get placement if they work hard for it.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is very simple and cheap. The cost of study is very low, my course will cost me around 20k INR only for 3 years. The scholarships are provided sometimes by the university and even sometimes by a private or government organization.
Campus Life
The campus life is the best part of the university. One can never forget this experience in life. The infrastructure is awesome, libraries, hostels, colleges, everything is well built and maintained. Books and journals are available in excess amount, there's no shortage of books of you need them. The classrooms are smart with projectors and equipped with cameras for surveillance. There's some extracurricular activity conducted almost every week in the university. Sports, festivals, cultural programs, etc are conducted on the campus. There are many societies and clubs run by the students and the administration for the students. Cultural Education Club is the most popular club of the university.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are pretty good and spacious according to the number of students residing. There are single-seat, double-seated, and 4 seated rooms in almost every hostel of the university. Meal quality is okay according to the very low fees we pay for dining, there's almost a new thing every day on the menu. Registration for the hostel is done during the admission process and hostels are allotted after the admission gets completed.
