I pursued my UG course in IIFPT, so I continued my PG.It is an reputed research institution, good for research work, finest research work related to food processing is being performed.Admission process based on JEE score for UG and college entrance score for PG.Online mode of application UG class strength is 90seatsPG 12 students for FPE, 12 for FST and 12 for FSQA

Faculty member are knowledgeable approachable and supportive they explain concepts clearly using practical case studies and presentation.
The campus environment is friendly and students get good opportunities to interact through group project seminars events and extracurricular activities
The MBA curriculum covers important areas such as finance, marketing, HR and operation helping students develop management communication and problem solving skills.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities for MBA students at my college are reasonably good. students generally become eligible for campus placement from the 3rd ssemestse3r, after completing most of their core subjects. the placement cell starts preparing studnets through aptitude tests, resume building sessions, group discussions mock interviews and pre placement training.

The placement opportunities for my program are fairly good and students become eligible for campus placements from the third semester preparation and internship opportunities started yearly. The placemet cell various activity such as apptitude test, resume building session, group discussion, mock interview, prepare placemnt training to help students prepare for the requriements. The placement cell offers reasonable support throughout recruitment process.

Likes

Our college need little more extra space
The engagement of social interactions is too good and campus quality is too good with facilities
Our faculty are super knowledgeable and we have many workshops and guest lecturer apart from subjects and more facilities to teach us with lab and studios

Dislikes

Mayb a the space of the college and canteen is bit expensive
The college space is too small one which is issue for the students if there is programs
Some teachers are placed in wrong position

3 semester we are eligible for campus 3 companies 5 LPA 40% of the student get places the college with the related companies I want to work as a editor in a media channel and the course in our college helped me very much

PSG IMSR - Every medical students’ dream?

Likes

The campus is very beautiful with trees all around the place
The teachers are very good at the specific subjects and are ready to help you any time you need
Extra activities are also impeccable here And it includes a wide range of clubs as well as sports and fine art activities

Dislikes

The college timing is quite hectic from 8 AM in the morning to 5 PM in the evening
Since it is a private institution, patient interaction is not as good as you would get in a government institution

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very passionate about entering the medical field quite early in my life, so I knew what I had to do when I was in school. Medical field is a very challenging area to choose and the work life balance is not as good as other professions. However, it is very engaging and interesting for people who are actually interested in the subject. However, one cannot practice medicine after finishing MBBS because of the increasing competition, so he has to do PG course in order to be more approachable for the patients as well as to serve better in the specific field. The course curriculum is start in a well planned manner and the portions are completed ahead of time so that students have around 1 to 1.5 months of study break before the university exams every year. So, along with the exams that take place throughout the year, students will also have ample time to prepare for their exams in their own way preferred.

The cost in canteen is high. Below the normal people they can't buy the food in the canteen provided

There's no proper infrastructure and there's a long walk on elevated road for day scholars which is very tough. The college does not allow vehicles. The only positive thing about the college is the alumini network.

Niftem Thanjavur Campus life , admission process.

This college gives admission through Jee mains , if u are general category you need minimum 90 percentile whereas for other categories you can get admission above 75-80 percentile. This course is for 4 years , you will have more exposures to labs which reflects the actual food industries labs and you can get more contacts through IVs of your personal interest . I think good aspect is the exposure my college will give to Food Technology students, we have many departments including New product development, food packaging, food safety and quality assurance, etc. All these departments have their separate labs with high quality equipments where you can perform your research under the professors valuable guidance. If you join this college, believe me you have chosen the best college for food technology in India. But, my college is affiliated under TNAU, which means all the academic related should be decided by TNAU (ICAR accredited-one of the best agriculture college in India). My college is getting the Institute of National Importance (INI) status which means my college will soon be a deemed university. The main reason why I choose is I always want to do something different, everyone are going in same path like choosing CSE, ECE, EEE, etc so I want to choose different path in my life which is why I took Food Technology and another main reason is I am always fascinated about food science and its processing from farm to fork, I really wanted to get involved in those processes so I choose this course.
