Remarks
There is a need to improve the faculty. Also, "training and placements" is a big improvement area. Go with this college if you have to join the APJ technical university i.e. UP state university.
Entrance Preview
I got though direct admission in this college on the basis of my 12th percentage. Being one of the prestigious engineering college in APJ ABDUL KALAM TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY, this institute excels in academics and infrastructure. Talking honestly, only the name of this college made me opt it.
Course Curriculum Overview
I would be rating it with 8/10 on this subject. As the curriculum matches the IITs' curriculum, they cover all the main areas of engineering . The negative point is that being very old, the syllabus has become obsolete and needs some modifications. The exam structure also needs to be improved.
Internships Opportunities
No Post internship is provided but they do ask for a summer training for which students have to work individually and get a training.
Placement Experience
Only one mass recruiter i.e. Infosys is connected with the campus. Regarding, CS and It branches, placement is good. the package varies from 2.5 to 5. As of the record, 80% were placed last year but this includes BPOs. For CS/IT, quench, NEC technologies, Hot COCOa software visited till now.
College Events
No intra college fests. One cultural fest i.e. VIBRATIONSOne tech fest i.e. TECHTRISHNAOne and only good national event happens i.e. Scrolls which is a technical paper presentation competition and colleges participate nationally. This events is really reputed and colleges from different states participate.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is generic i.e. around 1 lakh p.a.If you are going for hostel, you will have to bear an extra cost of around 80k.One must not compare the fees with govt colleges. But as far as the private colleges are concerned, its feasible. Tuition fees is the major fees and if you don't pay any fund demanded, they cut it off from your security fees i.e. Rs10,000 deposited initially.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, if your family income is less than 2.5 lakhs, you have to fill out a scolarship form. Education loans are also available.
Campus Life
There are lot of cultural and technical societies concerned with different branches. If you have interest in sports and other activities, you would be enjoying the campus life. Saksham is a sports fest which happens annually and do give you an exposure. You have the options of courts. Only one who is keen to enjoy the college life can make something out of it.
Hostel Facilities
The mess food is not good but ok if compared with other colleges. They do provide you sweets sometimes. Security in hostels is really good and students are debarred on many subjects. They have kept strict punishments and disciplinary acts. Rooms are reall
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors were good. They do have a good time with you but no help regarding studies. You must initiate interaction to get involved with seniors and activities happening in college.
Exam Structure
Two sessionals,One Pre university and one university exam happens. The labs are of no real help as they keep you busy in writing files. The PCB lab is the individual lab where one can learn something but nobody is there to guide. The exam pattern is OK bu
Faculty
I would be assessing the faculty as 7/10. Only few experienced teachers are actually interested in teaching and have knowledge about the concerned subjects. Others are just under the pressure of department and making a formality. They really need a proper
