Remarks

Admissions are done through reap on the basis of jee mains score. You need to have at least 75 percentile for getting computer science in skit college with a minimum percentage of 40 in PCM. Once you are allotted this college you need to come for reporting and other admission processes.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this because there is much scope in this than in other courses. The faculty is quite good and understanding. There are time to time exams. You need to pass both internal and external semester exams to get qualified in the semester. Exams are based on your syllabus only and not that hard to pass.

Internships Opportunities

You get opportunities to get internships from college or you can apply for off-campus internships. You can get internships in Infosys with a stipend of up to 10000 per month. And you can also apply for skit-sponsored courses on Coursera or Internshala.

Placement Experience

The placements are very good. Almost every student without a back gets placed in one or more companies. The average package you can get is 5-6 lakhs per annum. The highest package this year was 20 lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

You need to pay an 85000 fee per year and you can also get a scholarship or financial assistance on the basis of your reap rank. You can get admission in TFWS if you got a good rank on the reap merit list.

Campus Life

The campus is really green and calm. There are a lot of trees and you get such nice gardens to sit with your group and you also get library facility to study both books and digital. There are various clubs for sports. If you are interested you can get yourself enrolled in any of the clubs available.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are not that great. Yes, you get a clean environment but the food is not that good. For hostel accommodation, you need to apply for the hostel separately. If the rooms are available you can book your seat. All rooms are two-seaters.

Hostel Fee: INR 96000 per year

Interview Experience

There are no such processes for admission You get direct admission once you clear counseling. You just need to fill the reap form and come for reporting on the date scheduled. It's that simple. If you opt for internal sliding you need to come on the day of the result announcement otherwise you will not be able to change the course.

Likes

I like the personal mentorship for every student
I like placement opportunities given to the student
i like the environment of the college and practical work

Dislikes

i dont like the class timings and length
i dont like the prayer system at morning
i dont like college timing and regularly wearing college dress

Placement Experience:

in semester 6th the student is eligible for campus placements one of the company is techo tech highest pacakge of my college is 72 lacs per annum and average package is 4 lacs per annum there is 100% placement rate

I would rate the course curriculum as very good. It covers important topics and provides useful theoretical and practical knowledge. The syllabus is relevant to our field of study and helps develop our skills. However, including more practical sessions and industry-related topics would make the curriculum even better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

University of engineering and management jaipur is very good for faculty bahavior but it is not good for campus facilities and other facilities. Uem jaipur is not supported for students a event organised.

Likes

the class timings are really flexible that is maximum 5 hours in a day
there are a lot of fun events in college every other day
the male to female ratio is approx 1:1 and both genders jam well with each other

Dislikes

the money factor i would say is one thing which doesnt add up if placements are considered
the freedom provided here might not be the best for everyone u need to have self control over yourself
people here can get too entitled and the pda inside might bother you but you will find your people

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirriculum is designed in a way such that most of the outdated and uselss things are removed this year and the labs of each subjects help you well enough to dive deeper into the application of the subject . some areas for improvement can be removing unnecessary subjects like manufacturing process for cse students . main exams are held every 3 months and the difficulty is moderate

A complete average College

Likes

Friendly Teachers - treat you warmly and respectfully.
No severe Attendance Criteria or Extra marks deduction.
Many Seminars included throughout the course.

Dislikes

Architectural issues, building without repairs and many damages, no parks or playground for sports and activities.
Damaged computers and conjusted computer labs.
Need to revise the syllabus for CSE/IT as it is not keeping up with current tech.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

College infrastructure and location is good and highly qualified professors are there with good mentorship quality.
Campus Life is engaging and supportive nature of professor helps us to improve more and More.
Faculties are expert in their curriculum and they are supportive also .

Dislikes

Placement services are good and also companies like Google and microsoft comes to visit our campus.
Quality of infrastructure is like a Nit as they focus on giving best building and infrastructure with good curriculum too. Advanced technologies and amenities are awesome.
Course curriculum is relevant and rigorous practice of real world applications problem helps in cracking big company's interview

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because here the course is relevant and infrastructure is good also they give scholarship to study here . Curriculum helps very well in improving real world applications in day to day life . Teaching methods are impressive but some times it looks like a burden as they give load to students in improving themselves so this thing they should improve . Timing of the exams are of 3 hours . Their exam pattern is like other government college but they take exam strictly. Difficulty level is medium level .

Honest and Truthful

Likes

Supportive and knowledgeable faculty team.
Well maintained campus with good labs, classrooms and internet connectivity.
Placement team puts efforts and many students get placed in reputed companies.

Dislikes

Cafeteria options and food quality can defineiely be improved.
Hostel infrastructure lacks proper maintenance and hygeine.
Limited exposure to hands in industry projects.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from fourth year. Most companies come for software development, data scientist, ai ml roles. The major recruiters are google, microsoft, deshaw, goldman sachs, flipkart,deloitte, hashedin, samsung. The highest package was 45 lakhs and average was around 13 lakhs.

Remarks:

College management Director was corrupted person he was the one who charged extra examination fees from student. Mark sheet of school and other important document has been kept by them till final year so that even if student wants to change the college they cannot.

I applied for college like LMNIIT Jaipur,BIT jaipur.But I didn't take admission there because the fee of these college is too high .i cant afford it.i also applied purnima college and jecrc foundation, but everyone says that skit is much better than purnima and jecrc in education or placement also.skit is good for those students who want to do something. It is strict college it is good for students. In admissions you first give jee mains paper. Then you applied in REAP it same as joosa counselling in REAP you get reap rank .then according too reap rank you get college. Reap rank is depent your jee main rand and class 12 pcm percentage. If someone doesn't give jee main he can applied for REAP . But first preference is give to rhe student who give jee main .cutoff is based on reap rank .i can give you rough ide that i get 94000 rank in jee main 2024 and 88.60 percentage in12 my pcm percentage is 96.i get 751 open reap rank and 250 obc rank....Read More

About SKIT Jaipur
