Entrance Preview

I have not attended any entrance exams, joined through counselling using Diploma percentage as I joined lateral.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is good as the college is autonomous and also from coming first year the college is going to follow Choice based credit system which is going to be useful for students. It will be like foreign universities and the learning will be more over closely with practical knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

College doesn't provide any internships however we can get internships from any company and college will provide on duty to attend. College got internships for few students from IIT and few other start-up companies.

Placement Experience

5

All the activities happening in campus for students are 100% motivated towards placements and the placement opportunities are high in this college. The students are provided with sufficient training from 2nd year itself and the training is good and will have 100% job guarantee.

College Events

4.5

The events are organised by every departments in college, 2 symposium per year per department and other seminar, workshops also will be conducted by respective departments. Apart from that clubs in college will conduct events separately and to combine all, the events conducted over all will be 65% technical and 35% fun events.

Fees and Financial Aid

All the government scholarships can be applied and can be availed through college and also college alumni association provides scholarships.

Campus Life

3.5

The college campus life is good and also have all extra curricular activities, only thing is college doesn't have a NCC cadet group in campus. The lab infrastructure are good and students are allowed on anytime and can access lab resources. The gender ratio is almost 1:1 and the way girl, boy student is treated is like professionals.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

To rate hostel facility it would be 70% preferable as the cost is bit high compared to what we get, the facilities. As college is on interior, hostel is a good option. If student is having bike then can accommodate in PGs or private homes near college, cost will be lower than what it is for hostel. Food is okay still not as good. Food will be like all hostel foods.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni association of the college is having a strong knowledge of old alumni's, the network is strong and they are on various corporate and helpful to get internships for students and also financially helping and also entrepreneur alumni are helping students to start business start-ups.

Exam Structure

As the college is autonomous, the exam is conducted by the college own Exam cell and they are very same as other colleges. 3 Internals in which 2 best are calculated for internal marks and external semester will be conducted. The college is autonomous bus the exams conducted are not very liberal.

Admission

I joined as lateral, direct 2nd year joining for CSE using Diploma marks of last 2 years in Diploma. Have to apply for counselling through some colleges as Government instructs. Have to attend counselling on the appointed date and need to select college as per our cut off marks at counselling.

Faculty

4.5

Most of the faculty are Doctorate staffs and have strong domain knowledge. They also have good experience in industry and also in academic perspective. Staffs will be working on corporate projects and consulting projects. And staffs are friendly and very good mentors on both personal and academic perspective.

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
