Remarks

The admission procedure was a fully online mode which saves both time and money as compared to offline mode. To take admission minimum 92% is required for the general category in CBSE 12th. Also to secure a seat in the first cutoff you must score 95% and above. Since the pandemic going on, my admission took over online.

Course Curriculum Overview

Since the pandemic is going on my exams are conducted online. Exams are conducted every four months due to pandemics. The exam is for a total of 100 marks. i.e. 25 marks for practical and 75 marks for the theory exam. You should score a minimum of 33 marks to pass the exam and it's that much difficult to pass the exam. If you study for 1 hour daily then definitely you can score good marks.

Class Size: 98Course Fees: INR 13700 per year

Internships Opportunities

Jio, cyberkings India, Infosys, Wipro, growthic are some of the companies which provide internship opportunities in pgdav college with a decent stipend of 5000-10000 rupees as per performance basis as well as a monthly basis also.

Placement Experience

As you all know that to get a placement is based upon your skills. You should have communication skills and computer skills like - graphic designing, coding, ms excel etc. to get placed easily. If I personally talk about the placement percentage i.e 40 percent of students get placed with a package of 3-4 lakh p.a. which I think is a decent package for a fresher.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not aware of the scholarship but it does provide scholarship. Yes, they also provide financial assistance. PGDAV placement cell is good for internship opportunities, they also provide a minimum stipend of 3000-5000 rupees as the task is completed.

There are an enormous number of social groups and clubs in pgdav college, some of these are:- 1. Commercium 2. Placement cell 3. Illuminer counsel society 4. Satark 5. Kaizen society 6. Enactus club 7. NCC 8. NSS and many more

Likes

Affordability in terms of fee structure and degree they don't have huge amount of fee for any particular program.
Market value as its the oldest and known college of delhi university and their new buildings makes it value for money college.

Dislikes

college do not have proper hygiene in terms of classroom and campus

its highly reletive as they claim and mention in their course structure. they overall difficulty level the exam level are also moderate and if its about the areas for improvement they should focus key campus and library area its should be accessable to all

The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

I was given this college on the basis of the score in the CUET Exam which i gave after my 12th. It was a tough exam i would say because compiting with 20 Lac plus students for just a seat in DU is not an easy task. While preparing the prefference sheet and combinations for the college in the admission process was a confusing task. So i select all the cobinations of courses and colleges which i was eligible and then i also select my course and college, but i never thought that i would get it, still though i was happy that i get to study in one of the DU college.
