-I have an interest in commerce so opted for a bachelor's of commerce -The faculties are pretty experienced and qualified. Everyone is done with their post-graduation and even PhDs. Delhi University teachers are already up to the standards of the university. -In the commerce department, almost 15-20 faculties are handling 250-300 students -The way of teaching is interactive, tutorials are also provided with different teachers so that you can learn and grab things better.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 38000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I interned with 3 companies which were success mantra, story lane, quollab in human resource, equity research, and research domains. And got placed KPMG as a junior auditor.

Placement Experience

You will be eligible for campus placements as soon as you enter your 3rd year. The college has tie-up with big MNCs like Deloitte, EY, PWC, KPMG, TresVista, BYJUs, BCG, Bank of America, Deshaw, Accenture, Wipro, and a lot more. The highest package offered is 21.5 lakhs per annum. The college has a well-established placement cell and works tirelessly throughout the year .

Fee Structure And Facilities

You have to pay fees in 3 installments or can say each year.Scholarships are provided to deserving students Campus placements and internships are also provided. For internships stipends ranges between 2000Rs to 10000RsCollege does not have a hostel so you have to look out for a pg by yourself.

Campus Life

Reverie and Zistava are two of our major fest's. Gargi has innumerable societies and clubs and will suggest you join as many societies as possible and gain some leadership positions by your 3 year. To name a few societies and clubs - Sparx, 180dc, global youth, girl up glow, nss, ncc, cdf etc

Hostel Facilities

Gargi is not having a hostel. You have to look out for pg or flat. South Delhi is a bit expensive so look for a pg near Lajpat, Kotla near the south extension, or nearby places. I took a pg at Kotla bus and metro are well connected to the college which eventually reduce your traveling expenditure. Rent ranges from 10000-20000 pm.

Admission

No, the admission is completely based on cut-offs and the process is completed within 1 day. Even they didn't ask for original documents, a photocopy will work. And finally, Welcome to the Gargi.

I like the campus very much, it's big like a play ground, professors are cool and loving and the surroundings are perfect.
If you come here see you,,, you will definitely like it
The classroom are big and perfect, it comes with big projectirs so that students can learn easily

My college was a girl's college. There are maximum 60students in a class. Prints were quite cheap in the college cafe.
There were many fest functions in my college. I also participated in the dance fest in my first year. We also used to go on picnics from college.
India's chief guest at the annual function was M Venkaiah Naidu.

Dislikes

College fees were very high for general category people.
The behavior of many teachers was quite rude and arrogant as if they were teaching us for free.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.

Greenery of college campus and surrounding areas
Close metro access and other basic amenities
Diverse crowd which allows good exposure overall

Wifi Network is slow and not available at all places in campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

Infrastructure of the college is very up-to-date.
College crowd is very active and diverse, giving opportunity to learn and explore.
Teachers are very well educated and friendly towards the students.

Dislikes

Sports facilities at the college need to be improved.
Few teachers methods of teaching are traditional and outdated.
There is strict criteria for attendance, to maintain 66.7 percent

Placement Experience:

Final your students are eligible for the campus placement. Companies visited are HDFC Bank, Zomato, Swiggy, mahindra,EY, Deloitte and others. Highest package was around 30 lacs per annum and the average package is around 4 lakhs. Job profiles were mostly business analyst, research and development, PR and others. I will prepare for civil services examinations after clearing my graduation.

Our placement services is efficient and effective which always comes up with quality companies in terms of employment and package.
We have solid infrastructure which includes medical rooms, basketball ground, main ground, fest ground etc.
Our faculties expert in their teaching of respective subject where the teaching method is technology based and mentorship quality is demand based

Dislikes

Our course curriculum is relevant but sometimes it lacks little practical learning.

Placement Experience:

Student set in the placement from 5th semester where where is companies visited college for the campus placement such as KPMG, Zomato Deloitte, etc and number of offers made were not explicitly disclosed by the college and highest package was 25 lakhs and average package was 4 lakhs and profile offered were finance, marketing, etc around 70% students placed from my college and my plans after the graduation is to pursue PHD.

The opportunity of placements are very good.
Faculty is very helpful and strict at the same time.
The privilage of free treatments for students and their families.

Dislikes

The campus is small and no fests are there.
No canteen is there and only badminton court there .
Girls hostel is there but not so comfortable it is.

Placement Experience:

Placements are the best part of this whole course. Placements are provided vy the college, at the end of the course which is of duration of 4.5 years. The placements can be at Govt. Hospitals, like AIIMS.

Faculties of this institute are good and helps in understanding each and every thing clearly and also it is near to my house. Campus is also good with every facility that a student needs. This college also provide teaching material to students so that they can get their concepts clear even at the time of exams.

Ramjas the heaven on earth

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.

Hindu College was certainly the dream place and score too was enough to get admission there. However, my parents sent me to Delhi with a condition that I can apply only in Ladies college.
