Remarks

Yes, I had availed Management Quota. So in the management quota, you have to pay a donation and I had to follow the normal admission procedure. On the day of admission, we had to come with medical and other necessary forms filled. The minimum age is 18. If you are enrolling through counseling you need a decent cut-off of more than 175 and the cut-off varies every year. The admission process was smooth.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course out of my interest. I want to do something in the fashion manufacturing industry so I took this course. There is 1 faculty for every four students. Every faculty here has a doctorate degree, so they are experts in their field. Spoon feeding is not a norm in this college. So students will learn to self-study. It is an autonomous college so exams are easy if the syllabus is covered.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The companies that offer internships are chosen by the students, no leave will be given for the students to do internships. Students themselves have to find time to do their internship. So Students have to do Projects in their 8th semester and mini-projects in their 3rd and fourth year. All have credits so it is mandatory for students to complete their tasks. Help from Seniors will be a great helping hand.

Placement Experience

4

After the seventh Semester, a student is eligible for placements. Many-Core companies visit like ONGC, Saint Gobains, Asian paints, Tamilnadu Petroleum Limited, etc etc. The college has an 80 to 90% of placement. The company offers a range from 3 to 10 LPA. After getting a degree I have a plan to do Masters's.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since it is a Government-aided college, the fee is very low compared to other private institutions. My college provides many scholarships like First graduate, Women's scholarship, any other scholarship acknowledged by the government is provided in this institution.

Campus Life

4.5

So there are many clubs and college fest conducted on the campus. So every year one tech fest and many other fests are conducted. The library has a palpable amount of books and journals, CDs, E-books, Magazines, etc. Every Classroom has Acess to WIFI, Projector with WLAN, and Smart Board. The campus does offer Sports of all kinds and also athletics. So sports enthusiasts can also enjoy their field. There are more than 19 Active Clubs. namely YRC, NSS, Martial Arts Club, Kalam Knowledge Club, Sports Club, Literally Club.

Hostel Facilities

3

The college campus has an average hostel. The food in the hostel is also average. The registration to the hostel is easy and very much affordable. The hostel is fun but a=it has an average architecture. The hostel provides Water and Food(Mess fee is separate). The menu of the hostel Varies every day. and is routined every Week. If students are willing to stay outside they have a wide range of options to choose from which is around the college campus but that is more expensive than a college hostel.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Chennai Institute of Technology is an instituition that truly prioritizes student career growth . The placement cell is exceptionallu well-organized ,consistently connecting students with reputed companies across various industries. What makes CIT stood out is the quality of its training staff. They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence. The department faculty are equally commnedable ,knowledgable ,approachable and genuinely invested in student career. Overall CIT is an excellent choice for anyone focused on building a strong and sucessful career
