I will take admission to Haldia institute of technology through WBJEE Exam. and I choose the ECE department from my rank and I have scored some good marks approx 10k and talk about the counseling process is a Little bit tough but the Process was simple, we appeared for wbjee after getting results online counseling happens after this we have to go through a physical verification process in college after that we have to come to college to submit fees and take admission

I choose the ECE department had is a very excellent department and it's also a software and core department in a few years placement statistics is good also the faculty here are very well experienced in the research field. The faculty-to-student ratio is very high. there is a large no of teachers in a single subject. Semester exams were like odd semester exams happen in December and even semester exams happen in may or june .it is difficult enough, for get good marks students have to go through what have been they taught in class

Internship opportunities available from 3rd year as we started virtual internship alot of companies available for internship if you want to go to industrial training college also support that many companies like Adobe Microsoft Infosys TCS IBM also so many startup companies are they give the internships.also they conducted a three coding round interview and final interview round to hire stipends offered are different for different companies.big companies like Adobe IBM and Capgemini are they offer high stipends like rs 50k to 60k.google development intern ship for software development internship roles students must aware of several roles.

Students start getting internship and placement opportunities after 5th semester many companies are coming like TCS Infosys Wipro IBM Capgemini etc company visited our college and they hire students they conduct a coding exam based on above the data structures algorithm firat then an interview round conducted Placement is good enough if you have sincere enough then you will get placed in any company but if you want to get to google company then you have to work hard because of competition at time but college do there best

In Hit fees are cheap structure in Kolkata overall College fees is minimum compare to other private engineering colleges it 40000/semester. And hostal fees is 12000/semester is hostel fees. No fees and books will provide from the library.no examination fees are also asked from the College throughout the course. Many Scholarships are available from the government Campus jobs are good not highly paid but average and private scholars are also taken by many students some siemens scholarship programs rs 30k per year,a one-time laptop, and many more.

In the Campus, many fests are conducted by Colleges throughout the year.from March to september.a famous fest is called riveria, prayukti and also haldia people known tha a big mela are taken by Haldia people is known as haldia mela. Some actar and actress are coming the mela this melaa is going to 1week. classroom are also welled made with all department comfortable seats and in the department projector screens and whiteboard are aslo available In the library all books are available for courses all types of sports facilities are given from college indoor and outdoor games like football,basketball,tennis,Every odd semester football tournament take place and even semester cricket tournament take place.extra curriculum activities are common clubs are run by some talent student.

Hostel forms are available on the websites as well as in the Dean office hostal are affordable as the price for rent and electricity is rs 12000 also the facility is good they clean the room every week mess food is not that good but there is a lot of options available registration process is simple as they ask you at admission time you want to take hostel or not. Hostel limited seats and the criteria for admission to hostals is the distance from campus and family income you have to give in the also pg are available nearby the college price above 5k to 6500 2bhk flat.
