Considering my case in particular,I did diploma were i scored 80.91% and then got into to this college through cap round-1 (This college was my 17th preference).Diploma cut-off are comparatively high over here. College was certified "A" Grade the major reason it was in my options.
Internships Opportunities
No, not any internships but the placement officer does recommend students to companies like Siemens, MTNL, L&T during academic years.
Placement Experience
Placements have improved alot in recent year. In 2016 almost every eligible student got placed in companies like TCS, Capgemini L&T etc. Placements are not as good as other colleges in navi mumbai like SIES,RAIT but if you are good enough you can manage to get placed.
College Events
There are different committees for different departments like IETE,IEEE,CSI which organize different events and workshops apart from this there is NCC which does some social events. Also there is a cultural festival called Resonance and technical festival called Avalon.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee is expensive but a bit less than other colleges of mumbai. I paid a fee of approx Rs.92,000 when i was in last year (2016).Now it may be around 1 Lakh per annum. Fee changes from year to year depends on your year of admission.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are many scholarships available like TATA scholarship only a few good scoring students can avail this,it pays you a great amount almost 80% of your fees. Also there is scholarship for Economically Backward Class students which gives 40-45% fees back. Reserved classes (OBC,ST,NT,etc) already have to pay deducted fees.
Admission
I got into this college through online CAP rounds which take place.I got the admission in first round itself. These is a bit long procedure but you will be guided for this after your 12th/Diploma. First we need to register for the procedure after which we get an account created with a particular ID and password then the next part is to give.
