Remarks
I have applied to XIMB, IIM sirmaur, IIM Jammu IIM Bodh Gaya, Symbiosis, and IIM Sambalpur. I converted to every college I chose Sambalpur. Every college is similar in every term IIM Sambalpur is close to my hometown so I chose it.
Course Curriculum Overview
We have 6 mid-term exams and 6 end-term exams. Along with that, we have surprise Quizzes, Academic assignments, and presentations in class. Along with this Class, participation does contribute to the academic.
Internships Opportunities
Internship programs are available here with the Highest package of 1 lakh and with the lowest unpaid also that's very volatile and differs year to year. Roles would be like business development, SSM, etc.
Placement Experience
According to the previous year's report, 100% of students are placed and companies that visited are EY, ICICI, Mindtree V-guard, Tech Mahindra, Bank of Baroda, Deloitte, PWC, KPMG, etc. Students are eligible for final placement from 4 terms.
Fees and Financial Aid
As the average package is around 8LPA and the college fee is 13LPA so the cost of the study is high. Even though everything is online still there won't be any refund related to Hostel or the internet. We are yet to get placed.
Campus Life
There are a total of 27 clubs and committees run by students themselves. And we follow flip classroom pedagogy for a better understanding of the academic. No Sundays off are the demerit all other colleges do have holidays but IIM Sambalpur doesn't.
Hostel Facilities
Facilities like bed, Almira, chair, table, washing machine, and water filter at each alternate corner of the floor are there. The canteen is there but it is close due to pandemics. The quality of the mess is average.
