Entrance Preview
I took CAT, MAT, etc Entrance Examination and apart from this i have applied for Allahabad University Entrance Exams for MBA as i have graduated from there itself and Allahabad in my home town as well. On the top of it, the value of MBA from AU is very high in terms of education. My CAT Percentile was 94.8 but i gave priority to AU results for opting my College.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course Curriculum is very detailed and educative with specific focus on Methodology for Research and Development. Specific Tools and Personality Assessment Tests were also used to educate us in measuring Personality Types, Behaviour Styles, etc.
Internships Opportunities
Allahabad University does provide internship for PHD Students and the Stipend Rate is fixed as per the norms of Central University for PHD Students.
Placement Experience
A Number of Companies participated in Campus Placement Drive but majority of them were looking at Sales and Marketing professionals. Many BPO's and KPO's also participated in campus placement drive. In my case since i was in MBA HR Batch so i found my join on my own through some reliable sources.
College Events
Freshers Party, Christmas cum New Year Party, Dussherra and Diwali Celebration, Farewell Party. Mainly various Cultural Program and Convocation takes place at high level but unfortunately i was unable to attend my convocation ceremony as i was out of Station and was not able to take leave due to work experience at job.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasable and economical for tbose students who have successfully cleared Entrance Examination. Rs. 50000/ per annum. University fee is very economical and Program Fee is there which is comparatively economical than other institutes. This is for selected students only. Students who take addmissions through NRI quota, fee structure is very expensive for them
Fees and Financial Aid
No Idea as i haven't heard about any such facility. But Scholarship Programs must be there for those studious students who clear their examination with flying colours of success.
Campus Life
In our MBA Batch we were 25 students out of which only 5 were male and 20 were females and hence the majority lies in female group only. We were mainly the decision majors and active participants during various exercises, programs, discussions, etc. Since make students were only 5 in numbers so they were a bit shy in nature also.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes they are very helpful. We are always connected through E Mails. All the alumni are well connected through E Mails. Our network became strong through Freshers Party and Farewell Party and there after we are always connected through E Mails.
Exam Structure
The entire Semester's were hectic with back to back projects, assignments, presentation, etc We were asked to submit various projects, assignments, reports, studies, etc on regular basis apart from this We were also asked to give presentation during lectures on various topics.
Admission
Firstly filled up Entrance Examination Form along with examination fee. Thereafter gave Entrance Exam at AU Then got selected in Entrance Examination. Then got a call from Psychology Department about my Psychometric Assessment, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Thereafter appeared and successfully cleared all the three stages.
Faculty
All the Professors were well experienced and Special Guest Lectures were arranged from time to time to give lectures on various curriculum. Group Discussions were arranged along with Team Building exercise. Leadership Styles were also explained through Case Studies.
