For this You should do a relevant maths major in your 12th class, For joining the college you have to write PUCET which will conduct every year in may notification will be given in April last week, reservation is also available for BC, SC, ST, PH. During results, they will declare a select list and waiting list and dates will be given for each course we have to apply or hold our seat through online paying some fee and on a given date, you have to appear in university get checked your certificate and pay a remaining fee if you need hostel will also be provided.
Course Curriculum Overview
I mainly chose this course as the subjects are statistics and computer science as I got little knowledge in physics and chemistry, so I chose this course and institution, faculty was friendly and as of now the faculty has some scarcity now they are going to fill them maybe we will expect more experienced teachers, every professor is a Ph.D. holder and having a 5+year teaching experience we can feel free to ask doubts they clarify very patiently, term exams will be not tough and not easy it was medium if we are very good with teacher notes and references we can get good marks.
Placement Experience
Placements are very less in MSC maths courses, but in MBA placements are very high, In maths mostly coaching institutions will come for recruitment. My plan was to qualify for NET and get into a teacher or lecturer job.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is a bit high when compared with other central universities, the stipend will be provided by the university in the name of merit cum mean scholarship everyone Will get 3500 for each sem of they have income less than 2.5Lpa. And class first will get 10K, 2nd 5k.
Campus Life
Every now and then awareness programs will be conducted, flash mobs, cultural events, and all. The library was Very good you will be provided with an I'd card you can borrow 3 books at a time with some due date. Sports are average everyone is not interested but some cricket and football tournament will be conducted now and then.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel was like 3 people in a room, there are 10 boys hostel and 8 girls hostel for pg and ug students every floor will have bathrooms water filters, PH students will be provided with attached bathroom and special/single rooms. At the time of admission, the office will give you an application form for a hostel if you want you to have to get it signed by HOD and get ur room by submitting it to the office.
