Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) is a three-year under-graduate course modeled to offer the student with a number of management skills and at the same time also building in them proficiently in a specific area.
Students from the BBS, BCS and BBA departments get placed, obviously not great in numbers. The college isnt well known for its placements despite being in DU. Sometimes, central placements are conducted and students go to the North Campus for job opportunities.
There is a girls hostel at the back of college.the capacity of the college hostel is for the 72 girls.The girls feels very safe and comfortable in the hostel.There is 2 to 3 guards every time on duty which makes it more safer.The college campus isnt huge
As the college is located pretty far from the main city, it lacks classiness in terms of hangouts. Some local chole kulche, pani puri is a standard preference for all the students. Apart from that Ranibaug, Delhi Haat and Metro walk are the ones where you see Keshav-ites.
The teaching staff at Keshav Mahavidyalaya is very okay. Teachers from Maths and Physics department are pretty good and students are extremely satisfied with their teaching. The teachers well versed with their respective topics. The lectures are conducted
As the college is affiliated to Delhi University, DU, most of them are from Delhi primarily, and NCR belt. Boys outnumber the girls. Overall, the crowd is quite friendly and gels with their seniors and batchmates pretty well. Notorious activities like ragging isnt seen within the campus at least.
LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
Yes if the student gets above 90 percentage marks then the college gives free scholarships.Students have to maintain the weird 67% norm religiously, failing which parents are called. Even though the rule is to maintain 67, students say that an attendance around 55 is tolerated. Genuine cases are exempted and in extreme cases admit card is withheld.
