Remarks

No there is no certain test for admission, one of the related faculty members takes your test and checks whether it is upto the mark or not. Eligibility of course is to have 70percent or more than 70 percent marks in 12. Application forms can find on the college site as well as offline. no certain detail is available for reservation.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is well and good, students have 6 lectures a day for 5days a week. The faculty member is very good as they are ready for doubts solving of the student regarding the subject. I had chosen this course for technical entry in the government sector. The faculty to student ratio is about 1:60 respectively. Most of the faculty members are Ph.D. term exam is about 6-month duration and very healthy competition is there and very tuf to pass.

Class Size: 8Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Many types of inetrnship are offered by many companies like bosch, Kuka and many types of automation companies provide their internship.Projects like builtinf f1 racing car and many types of web sites for evolving the student .

Placement Experience

From 6 semesters onwards students become eligible to sit in placements of many comapny. many companies like tcs, infosys, amazon, etc visit college for placements. The highest package is 28 lakh per annum offered by amazon The average package is 5 lakh oer annum. Placement is in decent quantity is just average.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is high in the first year and then gradually decreasing after year by year. Most of the students get up scholarships according to category wise except that students whose parents are in the government sector.

Campus Life

Campus life is not excellent but is good. College doesn't organize many fests except a fresher party or a sports event saksham. Most books are available in the library and free to all. There are many clubs or societies in college every branch have their own respective club and also for fashion ,dance, sing etc.

Interview Experience

3.5

no there is no gd but there were interview in which i was asked about course selection some questions regarding subjects of 12. process of admission is start from admission form after filling it online or offline students get an allotment of date on which test or interview is done. i didn't prepare much about these rounds just brushup with what i was taught in 12.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
